Adel - our Rookie of the year promise 2006

Post by Jani Soderhall » Tue Jul 04, 2006 12:08 pm

Peter Klang wrote:I think rookie of the year would be Mikael Hadestrand two second places or Henrik Wadsten whom won two firsts in Paris and is racing in the worlds. Let not forget Dominik, the winner of two events in Riga and one in Paris, but what do I know…
Peter,

All the guys you mention are really good, but they're no rookies. They've all done Main events in earlier years, so yes Adel is well positioned in the Am Rookie Ranking for 2006.

Adel, go, go!

It's not completely right ( ESC 2004 ), like Henrik W. ( ESC 2005 )... but I guess it's not the right topic!

No more photos of Riga European Championships?

It seems from the points that only two events are included in the overall, what kind of an overall is that? I thought the overall meant overall as all events included... Or am I wrong?

Is there a full table with all riders?

Thanks for a fun event!

It's so good to meet all the riders and hang out with you, I'm really looking forward to the next event, even though it feels good to be home at last!

Marcus, it was me and Corky whom calculated the overall. It was the same result regardless of the number of events (two or three). So relax Bro, have a beer and get ready for the GS in Brix.

Allway love you
allway want you

Hello, everyone!!!

Ahhhh.... I'm still in Riga and enjoying myself very much. HaHA!!
Big thanks to Gints who made this event happen, I will be here next year for sure.
It was an awesome event. Maybe this and that, some this and some that was not so good, like the ameteurs got really screwed on the first day, or having all qualis running single lane (wasted time) or having only one timing system....but it all doesn't matter since you had good vibes, weather, water, beach, bitches and so on....that was fun ;)
It was very nice to meet everybody (again and for the first time)

On thing though: I didn't get a board for winning the AM special?

Ok, I don't want to play games here. I saw Adel getting a S-camber Pro model, which is cool, but later I saw him also with a C-81 in this hands, now please don't get me wrong on this one, his is no jelious stinky greed shit, I don't need a board, like on the first day, I gave my trophy shoes to someone who actually needed them at this moment more than me, and like I spread the bread ( that one was so huuuge!!!) with everybody riding the bus back to the hotel (yeah, call me djesus). I mean I am totally feeling happy for him winning on that day, because nobody would have expected that, congatulation :) but I don't like to see some spoiled kid grabbing everything he can get his hands on. He told me that he lost his board, so he won, he got a board, he maybe didn't like it and sold it (rumors say that) than he gets the next one and? What tha f#@k? What about the others. I asked him if he didn't allready got a board, and he said: "No no no....I don't have ... I lost my other .....I need tha board." He was the Hero on that day, but that doesn't mean that he gets it all and others don't who deserve it just like him.
See, I probably would have give it to him anyway, but I would like to have the chance to do so. So bottom line is: Is deserve this board same as he does. He got his, he can do whatever he want to, and I do the same with mine. I want it back in Brixx by the latest, so I can actually choose who is getting it!

So, don't think I'm too pissed, I just think that this is simply not fair. We are kind of like a big (sometimes gay) familia.

Ok, I'm going to sweden now, to meet some more Brothas from different Mothas
Ende gut Alus gut! See you all in Brixx!!!

Over and out!

good memories!

Post by Steve Hinzen » Wed Jul 05, 2006 7:19 pm

I still got this great weekend in my bones with only good memories. First I was iffy about going to Riga but now I'm happy I did. I was lucky to find time to visit the city of Riga. That place is sexy!

Thank you to all you local folks for making it happen and share your paradise. The hospitality and support was amazing.
Gints, you did a srupulous job.
Kristina and all the others, you never seemed stressed and were always helping out with a smile.

Congrats to all winners! We keep on hunting you.

Big thumbs up to Katrin who landed her first big podium. It was time!

Adel, you surprised yourself more than anybody else. Keep going!

To all juniors who had the guts to compete. The future is yours. Keep rocking!

Dominik, I hope you are not serious about your complaint. It sounds rididulous to me and seems to have its origin in a misunderstanding.

I had fun meeting Hendrik Madsen again, who I raced the first and last time in the AM-final at the ESC 2004. Peter, we will have more beers in Brix and talk about surfing. Marcus, your little family is great! Maurus, I'm jealous about your last surf-trip!

Both race sites were excellent. Only drawback of the competition: not enough head to head action! I liked the giant course. It had lots of flow but was still workable. Next time take the whole road and I will be back for sure.

A great event with a fantastic all time atmosphere! See you all in Brixlegg!

Maybe not the sharpest of images, I took it with my mobile in the hotellroom.

Still can't let go that the throphy probably should have been one size larger, even though this size fit Stella better.

I think I need to do that.

Riga and the hole trip to sweden was just one of an awesome trip, and I had so many funny and amazing situations like never before, so only what I could do is tell the one I had some bad feelings on....What a pity! Well just forget it. I'm so happy I can't decribe it or spell right what I experienced, all I wanna to do is having fun and be happy ;)

PS: Hey Pelle! Did you even know that you are described as a german rider in the newspaper? LOL! Welcome on board dude!!!

Riga I luv u!!!
