But without direction changes.

You'd have to calculate speed as a quotient.

For example:
main speed divided by direction change per min

What is set-up for the comp the weekend before Paris? I can't read your site. Accomodations and such.

I am starting to look for flights. MB and I plan on spending 3 weeks of comps. Uster, Paris, Grunigen.

Let me know, Thanks!

Hi Claude,

our sites will be translated in English as soon as possible.

For the competitions:

Uster:
There will be a race in the night with flood light. (only Saturday 20th of May) It will be a special tight slalom. Categories are Men Pro, Men Am, Juniors, Women.
The entry fee is 30 swiss francs.

Accomodation: it depands what you want. I can organise you a hotel, or you can stay for free in my house ?

The race side is in the middle of the city. I will upload a picture of the asphalt and the race side in the next day's.

course will be setted by Ramon.

Grüningen:
It goes over the whole weekend.
Saturday: special tight slalom (Pros will race in the night with flood light)
Sunday: hybried slalom

Ther is a military bunker at the race side. There you can sleep for free. or again in my house.

You needn't to buy a ticket from Zurich to Paris. I will go with my car and there will be enough place for you too (it's about 6 hours Grueningen-Paris). One week after Paris there is the race in Hannover (it's about 7 hours Grueningen-Hannover), we can go with my car as well.

About the Mode in Grüningen 04-22

Posted: Sun Apr 09, 2006 6:47 pm
by Ramón Königshausen
in English:

Qualifcation: All riders (except juniors) will qualify on the same course. (Specialslalom, cone spacing 1.80m-2.30m)

Then we split the group into Pro's divison and Am division by making a cut at the top 16. The 4 last qualified racers (places 13-16) may be able to decide themselves, whether they wanna ride Pro or Am.

Now the Pros will run their finals on a new, slightly tighter Special-course (1.60m-2.00m), while the Amateurs will have their finals on the same course as used for the qualification before.

So it's up to you, what deck you're gonna take along...

Dann wird das Feld anhand der gerfahrenen Qualizeit in Pro und Amateur unterteilt;

cheers & cu there!

The weater forecast say's coated and little rain.

We have a Micro Clima here in the Zurich Oberland and it can change realy fast.

We will be at the race side in the morning and prepair the race.

We will not cancel the race before the start at 2pm.

Cool

I will wait for te forecast from tomorrow.
I will be there if they say chance of rain less than 50 %

Please J. can you make sure that things go faster?
Last time we could have made the finals if the race would have gone faster..........

Start on time and don't let every group skate a hundred runs before their raceruns.

A few runs are ok, and then keep warm........

We will have a practice session from 13:30 to 14:45 on both lines. We will change one line for the Pro on 14:15.

At 14:45 we will have the rider meeting.
after the ridermeeting there will be no training anymore. When we change the categorie, there will be 2 run's for each rider.

The rider's which aren't ready on the race track for the practice will not have an extra practice.
