[2006] GREAT WESTERN RACE APRIL 2ND-new location

Post by Donald Campbell » Fri Feb 03, 2006 11:46 am

due to the overwhelming success of the last G.O.G. race held in düsseldorf i came to the decision to hold the first GREAT WESTERN in düsseldorf/oberkassel.
the course will be a special to tight head to head race.similar to munich the track goes down a hill into a flat section.
entry fee will be 20.- euros for ams and 25.- for pros
we will have pro and am registration at the track, starting at 10.00 am.
race starts at 12.00 pm sharp.
you can expect good prizes and heavy competition.

another change

i spoke with heiko and the entry fee seems to be a bit steep.
so we make it like this 15.- euros for ams and 20.- euros for pros.

pros can expect cash prizes even though it won't be that much
ams can expect some decent schwag from pavel, concrete wave.de,vans,carhartt.

included in the entry fee will be a free t-shirt with a unique design especially made to highlight the event.

most-if not all of the money earned through the entry fees will go back to the racers.
i'm not making this contest to earn money.

Will the prize money cover travelling costs from Zurich to Essen?

*condition: if I win the race I'll get paid at least the whole journey. Image

April 2nd is completely impossible for me, this is the anniversary of my 2 daughters, and this one is very special actually.

April 2nd is completely impossible for me, this is the anniversary of my 2 daughters, and this one is very special actually.
So, all you have to do for making them a nice present is:
Make a weekend trip to our frenchwelcoming country, learn how to drop down a starting ramp (and even to push),
show them the best of your upgrated skills, win and spent the price-money on the gifts for your daughters ;) (that would probably be the drive home..hihi)

No, seriously, sorry missing you again on our playground...seems like you are afraid of coming over here....I mean last time it suprised me that you couldn't drop down a tiny starting ramp....and now all the sudden you have two daughters! Ha ha! No, just kidding of course.
Wish you all the best! But make sure you won't be remembered as "Etienne the buried".

Anybody else who would like to attempt for the race, I can easily take two or three girls ( or guys) ....for hosting them, of course ;)
What about you? Yeah, you! Like to party? And meet several one of a kinds? Just tell me...

it is not always
about love
