We will race in two different categories.
- Junior (born 1992 and younger)
- Race (born 1991 and older)

RACE:
There will be 3 Rounds for the categorie „Race“. We will start with a 40 Cones Course (cone distanze 2-4m)

From Round to Round we will put more Cones in, until we reach the 80 Cones. That will be a special Tight Slalom with Cone distanz arround 1.60m.

Every Racer has 3 try’s per round. The best time counts. The first round will be passed by all racer’s, the second round is the qualification round for the last round. The last round will be run between the 10 best Racers from the second round.

If there are more than 50 Racers in the categorie „Race“, Than we will cut down the try’s per Round to two. That will be communicated at the Ridersmeeting before the race.

The winner of the last Round will be the winner of the OVER80CONES. But every Race for itself will count for the World Ranking. (Prime Status)

Juniors:
The Race will be held over 3 rounds. Every Junior will race every of the 3 courses. The last round for the Juniors will be the World Record attempt.

The juniors winner will be determained by the avarage time of the three rounds.

World Record attempt:

The invited Racers as those who are under the top 50 in the worldcupranking.com are allowed to Race the Worldrecord attempt over 50 Cones. The rules are those for the World Record attempt.

There is no Cone Penalty DQ. You can hit as many Cones you want.

Can juniors also attend "race" categorie ? Is the cone distance the same in both categories?

Posted: Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:30 am
by Jadranko Radovanovic
The junior's will have diffrent curses than the categorie "race". All junior's will race every of the three courses. We planed two hours for the juniors.

In the categorie race the first two courses will be raced by all racer. For the last course we will just have the best 10 racers (qualification is the second course).

We planed not to have the junior's in the race categorie. But it depends on the number of racers. If there are less than 30 in the "race" categorie, we can let the juniors race, but we will charge them for the "race" categorie as all the other racers with 30 CHF.

What's the cone distance for juniors?

Posted: Tue Sep 23, 2008 10:42 pm
by Jadranko Radovanovic
Ther will be three diferent courses for the juniors. All courses will be special courses. First a wide cours (Cones 2m - 4m generally) and then we go tighter. As we have a lot of juniors and they have different skate levels the courses won't be too hard to pass through. We have Ramon who will set the courses and he won't do it too hard for the juniors.

For the category "race" it will be the same. We have three different courses. The first will be wide (cones 2m - 4m) the second will be a hybrid (cones 1.60 - 3m) and the last one will be really tight and will be raced by the best races. In fact the second Round (hybrid course) is the qualification for the last one. We plan to let the best 10 participants race the tight course.

Hope it answers your question and make it clear for all who participate that the last round will just be raced by the best 10 riders.

Parking question:

Where is the best place to leave a car? Tow-Away free and not too expensive and not too far away from Rennweg?

Posted: Thu Sep 25, 2008 1:51 pm
by Jadranko Radovanovic
There is a place to park the car. about 5 minutes by skate to the Rennweg.

The street is called "Sumatrastrasse"

You go from the "Central" (is next to the train mainstation) the "Weinbergstrasse" up, you will pass the Hotel Astor after the first cross. Then you follow the street for about 200m and by the next cross there is the sign "Sumatrastrasse" which shows left down, it's a one way street. At this street there are a lot of parking places. On Sundays they are mostly time all empty. In general there is no police controll there. But you won't pay the ticket anyway. And the swiss don't send the tickets to germany or any foreign countries because of 40 CHF or 120 CHF (for parking more than 4 hours overtime). I'm not shure if you have to pay on sundays. If you follow the street to the end you will come to the "Weinbergstrasse" again.
