So, then I can't try to take away from Fabian his master world record, nor Christopher take back from Olle Bauer his junior world record that he lost about a week ago? Even if only unofficial...

Think we can do better, all of us!
rain rain rain in stockholm.

That's right Michel.
We have to concentrate to those who can break the worldrecord arround 50 Cones. As you say right it isn't the official ISSA record. It is just the record as fastest human arround 50 Cones. If you feel you can break Gustavs record so we let you race, otherwise not.
We have to keep this part short so we can longer skate the Over80Cones.

Thank you Gustavs, but I feel more like Usama then Usain (hiding in my cave in stockholm instead of running cones). Anyways, I'm in! I bought my ticket today. However I will miss practice since I don't land until 12.15. But I guess its the ususal left-right-left-right so it will be fine. I'm so looking forward to meet everybody!

From Arround 10:15 it should be possible for the Juniors to practice on the course.
The Juniors will start at 11:00 in the morning. The Juniors will race two different courses. Two runs for each Junior. The best time for each Round will count for the Roundresult. The additional of the best times from the two Rounds gives the Finalresult.
At 13:00 we start with the Open Group.
All 32 registered Racers will Race the first Round. Two runs each, the best time of the two runs counts.
26 Racers goes into the 2. Round. Two runs each, the best time of the two runs counts.
20 Racers goes into the 3. Round. Two runs each, the best time of the two runs counts.

Thank you for a great time in Zürich! I really enjoyed my few hours in the town. Great fun meeting everybody, great fun racing some and... Well it was fun! I even enjoyed falling, haven't done that since trocadero 2004 I think. Hope too see all at a race soon!
Note to self: don't reach for finish line while looking at the timer display and riding on one foot through the last couple of cones at full speed.

Sooo what about them times?
Zurich 80 cones rocks!!!

Thanks to Jadranko and everybody else involved in ''Zurich 80cones'' organization!!!
It was a great event with a lot of riders and countries represented and I really hope to race there also in 2010
Congratulations to top3 - 1st-Ramon, 2nd-Janis, 3rd-Marcus (World champions in tight 2006; 2007; 2008 - funny coincidence

I gave it to Michael Brönimann and he sand it to the newspaper. I hope they had enough paper to print it. There were 260 runs and times, just for the statistic.
If Ramon isn't faster than i with publishing the times, than they will be online today 17:30 swiss time. My only problem is, that i haven't a server to publish them. I sold all my things (Server place, wheels, my old russian trucks, my both timingsystems), just not the 161 board.
If i get a possibility to publish it (hope Jani will give it) than i will publish, otherwise i send it to you and all who want it with e-mail.

If you send me the original excel files I will import them and show them online at www.worldcupranking.com/live
Same goes for all races and race organizers. No matter how small or big event it is, as long as you use the standard excel spread sheet and send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I will upload the results so that they are available to everyone.
Doing this also helps keeping the worldcupranking.com ranking alive.
Posted: Tue Sep 29, 2009 2:47 pm
i will do it !

The results are now online at: http://www.worldcupranking.com/live
Did you get any 50 cone results?
Posted: Tue Sep 29, 2009 9:33 pm
Congrats Marcus! I find it pretty amazing that you, after a year without to much (allmost none) training can do this.
Pretty tight times................after Ramon that is.
Posted: Wed Sep 30, 2009 9:57 am
Marcus, no results for the 50 Cones.
If i remember correctly, one of the fastest times was 9.34 with 2 0r 3 Cones...

I've always felt a little bit shorter than Ramón and Jánis but I didn't realize it was such a big difference. Damn!
