Not to hijack your thread, Petr, but this is absolutely totally weird.

Brno is actually in the news over here today:

The world is getting entirely too small!

On sponsor request (he pays the hall etc.) the Indoor Euros will be extended to three days (5-6-7 October 2012).

Wow, good in a way, but last time I got tired in my muscles already after one day! I need to do something about that... I know it's called exercise!

Also, it's not so easy to get kids out of school for an extra day, so maybe attendance will be a bit less on the Friday.

I would like to apologize to all riders for the organizers of the contest in Brno, but we are forced the European Indoor Championships in Brno, CANCEL. We're sorry but the hall which we had rented in the past years and where the contest can be hold this year we can't use this year. We don't have a replacement hall. Sorry but this information we have learned up to now.
We believe that the release of the Main status will be assigned for any other European contest.

mhhhhhh
i think i will try to get this contest-maybe just for this year-done here in germany

fact is that we have an extremely new indoor spot where my factory is.
we are talking about a very long and polished surface in a redone factory building.
the factory is huge and has been redone for the german fashion shows, which have just been cancelled

but....the place will be empty most of the year and it sports a polished concrete surface which is absolutely even
and not wobbles or cracks or anything-actually the best you can get to skate indoor!!!!
me and heiko from concrete wave wanted to do something anyway this fall,so maybe this will be an
interesting opportunity to replace the indoor contest for just one season-when th czechs come back next year
again its cool.
i will try and ask to see if i can get this place. anybody who has been at my factory basically knows where the
event will take place-its just another building on the compound.

again-this is the best surface you have skated in a long time for sure.

i will keep you posted-i guess its an attractive idea and would be a good season ender to say so.
