hey friends, here is fresh news from Philippe and the Désaxé organisation

Prizes
This year will be 2 UCPA travels added to the prize money purze. All will be granted on overall results.
First prize is a 1 week travel for 1 person in any UCPA center (value ~= 700€)
Second prize is a 3 days travel for 2 person in any UCPA center (value ~= 350€)

Cash is guaranty to minimum 500€, with +15€ for each man/+10€ for each kid/woman OVER 30 paid registrations

So here is how we plan to split that (based on minimum cash)

OVERALL
#1 1 week travel OR 350€ cash
#2 3 days travel (or unchoosen prize)
#3 100€ cash (or unchoosen prize)
#4 50€ cash (or unchoosen prize)
#5 unchoosen prize

As usual, there will be also some goodies from sponsors

Entry Fees
MEN : 40 € in advance, 50 € on site
WOMAN/JUNIORS : 30 € in advance, 40 € on site
KIDS : 20 € in advance, 30 € on site

we first apologize for delay in providing Sanction document but we are waiting for a sponsor to answer (UCPA, who used to provide a nice travel to the overall winner)
We need this to fix exact prize money purze, and entry fees.
We will send it in a couple of days i hope.

So, now, what is already known?

dates are fixed !
June 26th, 13:00 : Giant Slalom
June 27th, 11:00 : Tight slalom + bonus race (could be as usual a Nation Cup... it always depends on how many skaters are there, and if we do not get weather issues)
June 28th, 10:00 : Special Slalom

New GS spot is confirmed
Still at St Martin le Vinoux, at the top of the hill on the same road we used last years : the road is larger and asphalt is better. It will be safer but still fast!

Race direction and timetable will be lead this year by Frank Pannetier : pannetierf@wanadoo.fr
I will help him with other french guys.

As usual, expect for cone judges from the organisation, same ramps as last year, cheap food and beers on site, good infrastructures (ramps, results display screen)

This is a preliminary announcement of the 2015 Désaxé World Ride.




The plan is "End of June", so probably June 27-28 (or possibly July 4-5).

The GS will be moved to another location, less fast, less dangerous. The other events will be held at the stadium.
The intention is to make this an international event, so it's a Main candidate.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we have the definitive dates.
