[FCR 2003] FCR points World wide

Hello everyone, I am one of the organisers of the Grueningen Race. We
cooperate with Chris Eggers and Joachim Leonhardt (Germany).
On the weekend of June 21st, 22nd we will have the 4th Slalom Contest at Grueningen
(Switzerland, near Zurich).
Last year the contest was a blast: we had 50 racers from 5
countries . This year we are expecting a lot more.
The 2002 Grueningen
event was the largest Skateboard Slalom Race in Europe.
For more information about the race and the Saturday-night party visit:
http://www.pscontest.ch. We will have a GS/hybrid and a TS course, maybe a 100
cone-race as a side event. We will offer money and stuff prices. The fastest racer wins 1000
CHF (approx. 800 USD) while the entry fee is kept at a low 20 SFR. We also offer a free sleeping possibility for
registered racers.
After consultation with Chris Linford (TurnerTeam, UK) and Chris Hart
(AirFlow, CH) I have info from Maurus Strobel (Inidana, CH) that
it is not possible for them to visit all USA-races (mainly FCR-series),
in order to gain FCR-points. Therefore we consider it important that
you are able to score points at EUROPEAN races for the World Chamionships (Morro Bay).
In addition there should be the possibility for everyone to collect
Worlds-points in the USA and in Europe.
It seems to be a good basis
for promoting Slalom Skateboard racing and I hope that it will work out and that a
correct World Slalom Championship develops fast.
