Yo,

Regarding the signup for the farm, it will be opened any day now. Adam has a new policy on NCDSA where you can't work on the calendar w/o others being able to sign up unless the closed option is checked. He gives you 30 days to post results (from the day of the event) then your access code is denied. This is why you can now see it on the calendar but are not able to sign up yet.

Joe I will confirm the date and time for the signup.

Joe and I will go over the sign up sheet and notify all unpaid farmers this weekend. We have a wait list of more than 10.

Please contact us ASAP if you are on the list and are not planning on attending.

Due to the protest and to ensure we fall under the guidelines of a "Main Status Event", (it would be a shame to waste it at this point) we may have to offer sign up to PROS only for the few remaining spots...then whats left will become a first come first serve basis. All dates and times will be posted with plenty of notice.

Good luck to all the NJ Farmers this weekend.

and by winning you mean you still lost to 32 people. jk.

This past weekend I saw you lose . . . twice.
You saw me win

What's your point? That you're faster than me?

Gee, maybe someday my mommy and daddy will pay for me to take a whole year off and I can spend 8 hours a days riding a skateboard. Then I'll be faster. As it is, I'll keep working, skating when I can and racing in the class where I'm able. I find a certain satisfaction knowing I won a race without a sandbag wrapped around my ankle.

Anymore, Civ, or do you want to stop now?

take a joke dude.. If you were right then you might have a point, but your not and you dont. And who do you know that spends 8 hrs a day skating? I wish it was me. Sorry to shake your tree WT.

and the sandbagger thing is old news. Didnt care then, dont care now.

Yo,

Let's get fired up. The Farm is almost ready for dual parties. The tents are set, the kegs are ordered and the caterer is smokin'.

Fatboy,

If you're out there...could you please bring that big momma extension cord? Thanks. Also if it will help lighten your load...I have a Pevey Bandit 65 if you need it for Sat. ?

Smack on,

Will TK come out of retirement and race? Will Dave Pirnack (the only COSS member coming) dominate the show? It is time for the Florida boy Keith Hollien shine? Will Civ rain on everyone’s parade or will Claude (the old man from up north) rock the house? AND will WT finally make it down Shady without a DQ? Stay tuned.

The crop looks to be full of upsets and surprises. Could be a lot of first time crockers which stokes me out.

The only crock I'll get are the two my kids got me for my b-day.

See y'all soon.

Stoked and Ready,

Tway

Well I've finally gotten home and now it's time for my "What I learned" post as well as my/our thank you's.

First off a HUGE thanks to Joe & Kate, The Tway Family, Mrs. D, Rob & Lisa and the Fatman himself for offering up their homes to give us a place to crash. We'd be poorer and smell worse without your hospitality.

Another huge thanks to the race organizers for putting on, and pulling this event off without a hitch.

And a special thanks to Dave Pirnack for the coaching and inspiration. Your the man Dave!

Other thanks go out to:

- Nick for tending Bar (Keep pourin' em strong Nicky!)
- Rob Sydia for getting me into this
- Leo for taking pictures
- Nicky for being Nicky
- Sassy for taking pics and cracking us up
- Destiny and Scooter for driving and providing directions to make sure we got back to Canuckistan in one piece
- Finner for being hit by a snowplow ;)
- Anthony and Tyler for the unrelenting dick and fart jokes

My memorable moments and thoughts of the entire weekend/our vacation:

- Daniello + Alcohol = Johnny Hug Monkey. You rule Daniello "FULL BAG DUDE!"
- Marion is the coolest scary looking guy I've ever met
- Joe I does a mean "Folson Prison Blues" cover
- Fatty sings the best Gun's and Roses harmonies and plays the stand-up bass like an animal
- Pirnack could open his own Pottery Barn
- Scooter was in Devo
- CNova is not the guy you want as a wingman if your ever trying to sneak into anywhere with a guy snoring so loud it sounds like he's swallowing his tongue.
- The Farm has the best Mexican food north of the Tijuana Border
- Fatboy doesn't mess around when it comes to Italian Pastries
- Fatboy does also not mess around when it comes to falling in the garbage juice lane of Broadway in NYC
- Skating pool for the first time rocks!!!
- If push comes to shove Jersey folk are willing to sue elevator companies about weight restrictions.
- My girlfriend can bail like a champ and come up smiling
- The Quebec/Kebbek crew are the coolest people ever!
- Absynte goes down like a mix of paint thinner and cheap mouthwash
- Julie loves Pocket Pistols ;)
- Leo for giving me someone to gun for next year
- John Gilmore has an extra frontal lobe in his brain that houses skate and turtle knowledge.
- Given the correct variables if you go for a pee in the bushes at Tways a homosexual hummingbird will appear and try and land on your pecker

Thank you to everyone from Lisa and myself (I'm sure we forgot to thank someone). We've been grinning ear to ear for the past few days and can't wait for next year.

Much Love,

~TG

With your permission, I'd like to use the pic of the fire pit for the cover of the DVD...
which is just about done except I'm heading for Ohio today for the next 5 days.
I'll post it up late next week. This one is hard to keep short.
Right now I'm at 17 minutes and still have the vintage and the party to go.

Thanks again to everyone who came.
For me it was one of the best farms to date. The course setting was stellar.
I especially love the reaction of all the first time farmers.
Hell maybe we'll do another 2 dayer....stay tuned.
