I also got a certificate for a rocker in Paris... I also emailed Jack Smith about a while ago...
I don't mind that much though, I don't really need the deck, so it's okay... Actually I was going to try emailing you again and ask if it could be possible to get some bushings instead of the board (for more or less the same value though)... That might make it easier for shipping...

and I should check who is the last one who won a Bahne (coupon) at PSWC, I think it was a junior

Since Stan is asking, both myself and Ron Olsen both won GIFT CERTIFICANTES for Black Hills last year that we never received.

Ron won his at the Dublin, Ga. Shamrock Outlaw and I got one at the Mississippi Luna Slalom Jam. We're both still waiting for our prizes.

hmmm lets see.. you want ME to fax YOU that little piece of paper with what i won on it?

you MEAN THE ONE WHERE JACK DIDNT EVEN PUT THE RIGHT FREAKING EMAIL ADDRESS ON IT.?

hows about im going to send you my mailing address, and the same goes for everybody else who won something (i do believe we are all honest people here and dont need to lie about what we won) and then YOU send us OUR FUCKING SKATEBOARDS....

look at the freaking date at the top of my thread... then go back and look at the date of luna where i won the first board...

THEN go look at when jack said my boards had been shipped...

how about you do your job... fixing all of jacks f#@k ups....

there are people that have been waiting even longer than i have....

oh and i want next day shipment.. and YOUR going to pay for it... i do believe thats a decent compensation for making me wait this long for something i WON AS A PRIZE...

Ok Adam, your point has been made.

I am only trying to make good on any issues that I had no knowledge of. Remember I'm the good guy here. I just found out about all this. Normal shipping with tracking – your already taking money out of my pocket. (Black Hill and Rocker)

Mike Cividino (Rocker)

Wesley Tucker (Black Hill)

Ron Olsen (Black Hill)

Patrick Allan (Rocker)

Send me your address, the decks will ship as soon as I have everyone's shipping info. I have both 6 and 7-Ply Black Hills so let me know which you want.

thank you stan... any anger i have is directed towards jack smith.. not you personally.. it takes a big man to come in and fix somebody elses mistakes.. i hope that bahne in the future if there IS a future for the company.... will send the prizes directly to the host of the race and not just a piece of paper...

cheers all

if anybody has a problem with the way i have chosen to deal with this situation please feel free to PM me

Bahne

Post by Jack Smith » Fri Jan 12, 2007 5:16 pm

I would like to personally apologize to everyone who did not receive their decks. I also apologize for lying about when and if the boards were shipped.

The truth is I had run out of decks and did not have the money to purchase new decks.

I am no longer involved with Bahne Skateboards at all. Stan is now the sole owner and is one of the finest people I have ever met. I would like to publicly thank him for taking care of this situation I have created.

I feel that I have may have lost a few friends in the slalom community.

very honorable of you to admit your mistake Jack. That should be something we can all(insert adams name here) respect and accept. No hard feelings at all from me, thats for sure. I just wanted to check out a rocker, they seem like cool decks.

Good luck with the Skateboarder's Journal!.

And thank you to Stan for being the good guy and saving the day!

I have to agree with Civ, it takes a lot of courage to admit that they have made a mistake and to come clean

Jack, remember we a community that supports one another, good or bad, and when you need help - please ask

Yes, I agree, it takes a lot of guts to publicly apologize for lying.
I was wondering, is there anyone else Jack would like to apologize to?

It arrived TODAY.

Shipped USPS Priority Mail, so there was Saturday delivery.

Thanks, Stan, for the follow up.

I've been trashing Bahne pretty hard this season for getting the benefit of being a sponsor without fulfilling the obligation of having to deliver.

Let me say that I'm happy with my Black Hill and it was worth the wait.

Good Luck in the future. Bahne is a venerable name in our little sport and I hope to see it prosper.

Thanks again,

WT

SO,

DID ANYONE ELSE GET THEIR BAHNE BLACK HILLS?

There was a lot of sniping at Bahne for not delivering. Am I the only one who got my prize?

Adam, you brought this up. What's the latest?

Are the Rockers still backordered?

FINALLY!

Be sure and tell Jaw Ja Tom. I made it a point as soon as mine showed up to e-mail Byrddog and let him know the prize from his race was delivered.

So, you still gonna set it up for the youngin' or has she lost interest in the year that's past?

P.S. I think Ron waited the longest. He won his at the Dublin Outlaw on January 15, 2006. That's a YEAR to wait.

just a tracker RTS.. im looking to upgrade for next year.... still havnt decided what i want tho..

two things that would make that board better for my weight.. a little more flex and camber.. and a kick tail.....

oh wait... chixill already has one of those.. problem solved :) i really do like the board tho even if i have to stay loyal to chixill... i enjoy it as a nice little ts board, the only problem i find with it is the narrow tail, it helps to get my feet in the right place, but i find my rear going all over the place... (probably just my skill and nothing to do with the board) but over all i really am enjoying this thing.. it might become the coffee board...

if i dont buy that pps mini off tailtap, with the bennetts and cambrias. that just looks like a really fun board to goof around on..
