Rob ,forget the spacers and just buy Abecs Biltin 7's. Great bearings, no spacers needed or washers for that matter. TK

I think Steve is correct. That it is actually .400" that you need.

I asked Howard Gordon this once because I had been told that .400" was what was correct when the 3dm site said 10mm. This is what Howard said back to me:

Our website is wrong (thanks for noting this) - the correct spacing is 0.400", not 10mm (which is 0.394"). If you contact any of the manufacturers of spacers and order 10mm, you'll receive 0.400". We get spacers from Sure-grip, I haven't noted variation of more than 0.002", though that's from a limited set of measurements.

Note that the wheel hubs are not precision machined (they're poured urethane) which likely have variations of a few thousandths, so there is no point in getting too carried away on precision, though variations in excess of 0.004-0.005" may be noticeable.

I use the Abec 11 ones too and think they are good.

Abec11 sells 0.4" bearing spacers, which, I have been told, is the actually intended size of a "10mm" spacer.

I got a bunch of em and they sure look exactly the same size as my other "10mm" spacers.

Although they are aluminum, they do have a slightly thicker wall than the typical aluminum spacer.

Does anyone have a stash of good 10mm bearing spacers that I can buy.

I could really need 12-16 of them (3-4 sets of wheels).

If you have them readily available - they would be greatly appreciated.
