Sold: PVD R2's

Post by Glenn S » Fri Apr 01, 2005 2:43 am

Thanks to all who offered but one person bought the lot.

I’ve got two sets of PVD R2s with all the various angle plates, extra axles, and MANY-MANY bushings. Except for some minor road dirt pits, and very minor scuffs on the outside hanger of a couple, all the pivots are in top-notch, and my feeling as-good-as-new, tight...no slop condition, Meticulously maintained, cleaned and lubed.

I might consider to split the lot in equal twos but would prefer to sell it whole.

Again serious inquires/offers only please. No trades.

More Pictures upon request. Privage message me here on this site.
Thanks,
Glenn

Seeing as though a few people may have to go in on this set, i'll be willing to work out a 4 way split if anyone else is interested......

OK, so how much?

$700, $800, $1000?

Are these racers trucks or collectors trucks?

Joe

I'd really like to see them go to good use, not wall hangers. I might have a buyer. Will post back if they sell.

Chris,

Sorry, but I did not want to deal with parting the whole lot out. Probably could have gotten more than I did but I did not want the hassle of dealing with it at this time. If the buyer decides that is what he wants to do with the lot, that is up to him, and I'm sure he's read this and would contact you.

Yeah they might just be the best rear truck out there for traction and controlled sliding, and more slalomer’s would have gotten them and would still be buying them I'm sure if they'd have been made more simple. With things like just one rear angle of like 30 or 35 and no base movement fore and aft. Also don't think you need a turn limiter on a rear pvd. So just those things would probably have made them cheaper.

Heck I don't think they are patented; someone could have a simplified version cnc'd in China.
