modified Gus Truck

Post by Steve Collins » Fri Apr 15, 2005 12:37 am

I have one I'll sell you. It's been upgraded: Hanger width 101mm, hanger ends machined to be perpendicular to axle, axles 8mm x 180mm, includes steel spacers that allow you to kick it out to about 110 or 115mm, 2.25" grade 8 kingpin. Perfect condition.

I also have another Gus that I broke the baseplate on. The hanger is stock/unmodified and in perfect condition (including the all-important pivot pin).

I'm willing to sell the whole package, modified truck + "parts" truck.

Yo, JD. If you don't get one from SC, Jack Smith has one or two I think he wants to get rid of.

SC...Thanks for the schwagg! It all got here yesterday. Now I just gotta find the time to mess with it all.

So are these used as a front truck or what? What's the general accepted use for them?

PS: Maurus Strobel won the TS in Morro on this truck. Not on a Radikal, on a GUS!

I've only heard of it used as a Front. Good point about Stroble. He beat me in the Round of 8 on that thing.
