WANTED-Drop-through Deck/ Suggestions?

Post by Justin Pannulla » Sat Jul 16, 2005 12:01 am

Im looking for a good drop-through deck to mount Randal downhill trucks, and 92mm flywheels on, so a cutout shape is neccesary, if you happens to have one, or have a suggestion on a particular model to buy, let me know.

(im going to build one myself but i dont have the time at the moment, plus id like to buy one to check out before building one myself)

Thanks in advance!!!!!

The kebbeK JimZ pro flushcut is an awesome board to ride fast.
Drop thru and lowered, the RI baseplates mout flush on top of the board.
It measures 42 x 9.5 with a 33.25 inner holes wheelbase, concave and stiff.

check it:

Insect Lightening Bug

Have a look at the Insect skateboards.
They have a new model called the Lightening Bug. I had them make me one with a custom carbon lay-up for me.

Dh deck

Justin, go with a Kebbek if you're wanting to bomb hills, pull controlled slides, and have a 'drop-thru' that you know is made strong enough at the truck mounts. I have seen Pierre drop in on a hill (back by Stratton, one of those you want a Topo Map for) that I either 'Freecarve', or Luge, only he went As Fast as I Luge it, with only barely having seen the hill from riding along in a car. That's trust in your boards. Plus, I think Kebbek has a more comfy concave than Landyatchz, and a more functional shape than Subsonic (though those are sleek looking!). Insect is good, don't misread me here, but the Kebbek guys have been dominant in DH for awhile, and have the right decks at the right price.

Hopefully sometime before the end of summer. I will contact you to guide us and ride with us.

I will probably be at DaFarm in 2 weeks, see you there!

Have fun with the Flushcut Justin!
JimZ just won the Sully with that board last sunday for the 2nd year in a row!

Yeah we had a blast! Marshall and Molly are awesome skaters and i think they enjoyed our nite session "Montreal Style" with JoeI, Bob, Montoya and JF. Can't wait to meet them all again at DaFarm!
