WTB: Splitfire Pro

Post by Miguel Marco » Mon Apr 02, 2007 9:24 pm

Looking for a Splitfire Pro. Ideally a 107mm with Randal DH baseplate but will consider any width (90mm or 107mm), any baseplate (UB, RII, DH), or even hanger only. New or used, I don't care as long as it's straight.

Please let me know by PM or e-mail.

Thanks in advance.

If really you can't find any on your side of the pond, contact me. We may still have some, but I'll have to look around. It could also be that they're all 90 mm. I know for sure we have 90 mm fronts in stock. There's also a swede, Johan Thiel, who puts in bearings in the older ones, so that could be a solution if there are only older ones available.

But probably it's better to get one in US/Canada rather than ship it across the Atlantic (again).

Jani,

Can you send one to the GOG race with a Paris rider? I'll carry it back to N. America for Mig and get it deliverd to him at the next race. ?

Just trying to make a love connection.

Joe

Looks like my post generated one in Virginia. Mig is all set now. Thank you Carsten and Jani.

See my post in the SPLIT FIRE forum about using Radikal axles to extend the track of a 90mm hangar.

Yes thanks to everybody! Found a 90mm Pro in Virginia (it wasn't a 107 Joe!) and waiting for an answer on a 107mm Pro from another source. Hope the 107 works out cause that's what I'm used to riding.

And Wes, I saw your post a while back. But at my weight, I'd rather not ride on extended axles... ;)
