New rider looking for board

Post by Rob Giorgi » Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:26 pm

I have been skating since the mid 70's. Yah, old. I am looking to get into
some slalom racing. I am 5'7" 160. If anyone has a good used
complete board setup, let me know what you have. Thanks

Rob, I pulled this outa the 'New England' forum page (tucked in w/ Antrim Race). Talk to Joe I. about this stuff, it'll flow procedes back to the Dawkins' kids. The Roe, w/ Avalons, and Radikals (or TTC rear with an decent front like a Bennet or RTX) would make a great racer! :-)
If you'd like, I've got a few completes too, though they're older (I'm not racing anymore, well, at least until my Twins are past needin' diapers, so..) boards. Feel free to contact me here using my mailbox.

Hey, I'm Joe (Thanks Eric)

pm me your number and we can talk next week. I'm a 70's skater too and bought every wrong thing I could when I got back into it. I'm glad to help.

Also let me know where you live. Maybe you can try before you buy.

Joe
