Trackmate 2 lane sports timer

Post by Thomas Marivoet » Sat Jan 22, 2011 11:26 pm

Hi, I'm offering a trackmate timing system, since it's no longer used (in fact it was never used).

It was bought in preparation for an event end 2008, but didn't work out.
new state

2 Lane Sports Timer
Sports Timer. Two lane complete system. version 6.8W
All Cables including 800' extension Cable on Wind-up Reel also included are 4 Trackmate IR beams.

New price was 750 USD, excl shipping

I'll take the shipping costs on me

Will you part it out? Cascade Slalom is interested in just the IR beam components (not the wire, not the timer itself).

Maybe someone else just wants the timer (e.g. to upgrade to Version 6) ???

preferably not in parts, unless I can get rid of everything of course :-).

But the two of you already had the same question, and I think for different parts.
So lets make a summary, correct me if I'm wrong:

Eddy is interesting in everything but the box (but he's talking about tape switches, so perhaps also not interested in the wire beams)
Pat is just interested in the IR beams.

If that's the case I can send the IR beams to Eddy, keep the trackmate here for the moment and send all the rest to Pat

Thomas,

It doesn't seem you got all details right. According to the posts Pat is also only interested in the IR beams.

Can you tell us the exact version of the timer?
Send me a pm with pricing for the timer and I might be able to help you on on that one, if that's all that is left. I've plenty of wire, but if you need to get rid of it, give me an interesting price and maybe I'll jump in.

Thanks,

/Jani

Jani you were right, in fact I just mixed up the named, swapped them again in the edit.

Regarding pricing, I have no reference prices anymore for the individual parts since Daniel's website is still down. I only know the new price for the lot was 750 .. does anyone have the individual prices?

For versioning, it's 6.0 I believe, never did an update myself.
The order back then was:
"2 Lane Sports Timer
Sports Timer. Two lane complete system. Newer Version 6.0.
All Cables including 800' extension Cable on Wind-up Reel also included are 4 Trackmate IR beams. One year warranty on all components.
Quantity : 1
Price : USD 750.00
"

Just switch it on and check what version number it reports.
I would assume anyone would want the latest version, and the timer is software updatable, but only backwards towards a certain version (can't recall which just now).

just put batteries in it and powered, exact version is 6.8w

BTW, not sure if shipping that large spool (weight 5kg) is a feasible option .. looked up some shipping rates (overseas) for 5KG and the least I could find was 180$, sounds a bit expensive

tried: FedEx, DHL, UPS . not certain what alternative companies I missed

/edit: found another company, TNT: about 60$ for 5-10kg, that's feasible again :-)

That should be the latest version, so the timer could probably be sold pretty much at full price.

Shipping cable probably isn't worth it. It's probably cheaper buying it directly from a local provider, or someone with extremely good shipping prices.

hi all, a slight bump, since everyone dropped out it seems?

Eddy might be for good reasons (since shipping the roll of cable isn't really worth it)

But Pat, are you still interesting in the IR beams?

and Jani perhaps in the trackmate unit itself?
