Talons

Post by Tod Oles » Sun Jan 14, 2007 3:09 am

Back in late November, one very generous Cfav loaned me a set of 45* Talons for a look-see. After 6 weeks of Cruzin, standup bombin and knee down strafing all I have to say is UnReAL!!!

I'm amazed at the quality these trucks exude and it's evident on the first turn you tip into... I set them up on a 45"x 9.5" cutaway (29" WB) w/ positive wedge in front (50ish degrees) and dewedged the rear back to 40 degrees. Pink Gummys at all corners....
Just a sweet allround longboard.

Can't wait till spring to strap a sixpack to the tail and head down to the creek
to go fishin..... :-)

i do that in the city some times on my big chixill cruiser... just strap a case to the back and show up at the party.. makes it a little difficult to carry the board... but it works :)
