Radikal Trucks

Post by Keith Hollien » Fri Dec 22, 2006 12:39 am

I want to make sure everybody knows the toll free Radikal Trucks(1-877-RAD-SK8R or 1-877-723-7587) phone number rings on my phone. I am doing all customer service and sales along with my previous duties. I am updating the prices on the website and checking on website orders. I can also be reached at 352-494-2503 and by e-mail at Keith@KeithHollien.com. If anybody has any questions about Radikal Trucks or slalom skateboarding, feel free to contact me.

When I was at the factory a couple of weeks ago I found some powder coated trucks we did not sell. Most of the trucks are swing arm rears, but I have 2 set of trucks to sell. The 2 sets will sell for $255 per set instead of the normal $330. I also have 9 trailing swing arm rear trucks going for $150 instead of the normal $205. They are all new trucks, but they are powder coated instead of anodized like the new trucks.
FOR SALE (powder coated trucks)
1 set – Hollien blue front hanger with red baseplate & red rear hanger with Hollien blue baseplate $255.
1 set – black hangers with candy apple red baseplates $sold.
7 - Hollien blue rear swing arm trucks $150.
1 - red rear swing arm truck $150.
1 - red hanger with candy apple red baseplate rear swing arm truck $150.

I have some trimmed 3dm Avalons and a few trimmed 3dm purple Avilas for sale. I also have some ABEC-11 green wheels for sale. All wheels are new.

I have both slalom trucks and Talons in stock. The new rear hanger(truck) will be ready by the middle of Jan. We will have our own anodizing shop in 2007. The Talon’s will be anodized and we will have more colors to chose from for all Radikal Trucks.

Marty,
I have your info, but we are still out of red and clear bushings. We are having problems with Kryptonics. Mark is working on getting this taken care of. Anyone who is waiting for bushings, sorry for the delay. We will get this straightened out. I will post when we have this resolved.

Radikal customer service

Post by Art Pryde » Sat Dec 23, 2006 10:05 am

Keith,
...Walked out of the gym tonight and noticed I had a couple of messages and one of them was from you. Here it is about 1am east coast time and you're leaving me a message, confirming if I received an order that I placed earlier this year.
All I gotta say is that it sounds like Radikal Trucks is going in the right direction!
Thanks alot Keith! I appreciate your dedication!

I have sold both sets of the powder coated trucks, but I still have 8 new trailing swing arm rear trucks for $150 each.

Mike found 15 1” titanium slalom axles. They will sell for $20 each. They are the last of the titanium axles.

The powder coat trucks are not on the website, but I have updated the prices on the website. The 3dm Avalons are on the website, but the Avilas and ABEC-11 are not on the website.

Michelle and I want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Keith

I want to let everybody know I will have trucks for sale in Statesville, NC for the Worlds. I will also have some wheels and cones for sale. I am staying at the Best Western and arrived late Tuesday. The new rear truck the Dragon’s Wing is $155 and I have Hollien Blue, black, red and a couple of splash anodized trucks. I will also have Talon’s in the full size and cut down hangers. I was not sure I was going to make it to my 3rd Dixie Cup after spending part of tuesday at the emergency room for another kidney stone. At least I passed this one and they do not have to go get it. Has it only been 5 weeks since we where in Statesville, I cannot wait.

I will have Radikal Trucks, parts, misc. wheels and some cones for sale. I am out of splash anodized trucks. If anybody has any questions feel free to find me at the Best Western or at the races. My cell is 352-494-2503 or toll free at 1-877-723-7587.

I want to thank everybody who supported Radikal Trucks this year. Michelle and I want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I have a few special items for sale. I have one splash anodized Dragon's Claw for $160 plus shipping. I talked Mike into cutting some rear hangers down and he trimmed a 1/2" off of both types. I have a small number of both Dragon's Tails and Wings that have been cut down. Of course I have plenty of claws, wings and tails for sale.

I can be reached at Keith@KeithHollien.com or 352-494-2503 and toll free in the US at 1-877-RAD-SK8R(1-877-723-7587). www.RadikalTrucks.com is still not working, but you can order regular stock items on www.AAHTS.com. AAHTS is the parent company of Radikal Trucks.

whoa whoa whoa.. your offering a Dh truck with either a spherical ball bearing in the hanger OR a small bushing. Well impressed. Whats the price difference without the bearing?

And can you swap baseplates? Ie no bearing in the hanger but one in the baseplate?

I still have 5 or 6 of the aqua claws. Rick, callled and will call back. Gordon just email me at Keith@KeithHollien.com and I will take care of you.
Doug, the Avalons are $12 each and I will have to double check the width(I think they are 52mm).
Adam, the price for one Talon with both bearings is $125 and if you take out the bearing in the baseplate subtract $5. For a bushing in the hanger subtract $10. A talon with bushing in both the hanger and plate is $110. You can switch them around, but the bearings are pressed into both the hanger and baseplate.

Radikal's Avalons are trimmed to 52mm which is just a hair (1.2mm) over 2 inches. There's an equal amount of trim on the front and back which makes for a harder inner lip. (Other trimmed Avalons have more trim on the face and less on the back and have a more flexible inner lip.)

I got a box full.

Post by Keith Hollien » Wed Sep 03, 2008 7:43 pm

To all Radikal Truck customers who have called and e-mailed me over the last couple of weeks, I want to apologize for not responding. As many of you know my brother passed away suddenly on 8/17/08. He died in his sleep of a heart attack at age 58(only nine years older) in the home we grew up in and now own together. I will be catching up and returning all e-mails and phone calls this week. I will also get orders out this week.

I want to thank all of my friends who have posted, e-mailed, called and sent cards. It is greatly appreciated and I am doing fine, but I have a lot work to do on my old family home.

Thank you everybody.

Keith

I want to let everybody know I just picked up a batch of slalom trucks and trucks parts(105lbs). I have claws, wings and tail in stock colors of Hollien Blue, black and silver. The new Wing hanger is a 1/4" narrower than the original Wing(4.0"(101mm) to 4.25"(108mm)), but has the same geometry & same 35* base plate and I reallly like the way they look. Dragon's Fire(claw & wing) are $300 and Dragon's Breath(claw & tail(stock or trimmed)) are $330 plus shipping. I have all 15 sizes of 8mm & 10mm axles we make in stock. I should have talon hangers soon(I hope).

Any questions contact me at Keith@KeithHollien.com because my phone is down and probably will be for a few more weeks.
