New Radikal Bushings

Post by Keith Hollien » Sat Jun 02, 2012 10:33 pm

Radikal Trucks is finally releasing the new red 80A bushing to replace our original red 80A bushing. We have improved the spherical bearing seat of the bushing. With the new bearing seat the inner ring of the bearing will not touch the bushing at all any more. The new 80A formula is a very high rebound bushing and it reminds Keith of our original clear bushing.

We have also made a new shaped bushing and it is a cone. The cone bushings are about a ½” tall and the wide end of the cone is about 1” and it tapers to about ¾” on the narrow end.

We are also introducing a new durometer bushing. It is a high rebound 70A bushing in our improved original shape and our new cone shape. The new 70A bushings are orange.

The retail price is $5 each. I also have 80A urethane inserts for Talon hangers and base plates.

If you have any questions just let me know.

ps. I think these bushings are killer. So much so I took almost $3,000 out of my pocket to get these bushings made.

I tried my new barrels today. I like them. A lot. Nice compression and return to center. I popped these in while I was running tight today. I got really good action. Very impressed.
I haven't tried out the cones yet.
When can we expect to see some more duros? Harder duros?

Jeremy,
I will be picking up the 70A bushings on fri.

As far as more duro's: I am working on 75A, 85A, 90A & 95A. I do not have a time table for the release of the other duro's.

Just to be clear what Jeremy called a barrel is our original Radikal bushing with improved bearing seat.

Yeah, what Kieth said. Original Radikal bushing. That new bushing seat does seem to work better.

Keith,

any possibility to give a couple of them to Richy/Maria? Maybe they can take it with to the Worlds in Stuttgart...

Two very fast jung czech riders are using radikals, I thing they will be happy to test/try the new material.

Best regards from Munich
Peter

Just loaded and tested my new Red 80A bushings through some cones - solid fit, very responsive and positive feel!

Can't wait for some more duros.
