It was a true pleasure riding this GS hill!
A bit crazy too because it was a public street (for buses, taxi etc) and not closed off for traffic. Well, that's part of the Pirate (read: Outlaw) concept of this series.
Nobody had to confront a bus going up or down the hill while in the course, but I had to face a taxi coming uphill, while I was trying hard to improve my time... I chickend out and let him have his part of the street.

Most bus drivers were nice and drove well on the side of the cones, sometimes slaloming a bit. Thanks. Only one crushed cones on purpose. I guess he had a bad day in general.

One more race in the off-season: April 14, then the real season starts. Get ready for Parilly, Paris Slalom World Cup, Grenoble and Antibes. French racing is going to be hot this year!

The first event in the new series was held this weekend: Oct 7 at Place d'Italie.

The surface is ultra smooth and the site is really good for a smooth cruise and for working on your pumping skills without much effort!
Thanks to JS and Erika for making this happen.





















The pirate session was also the occasion to practice some hand and head stands.
