John,
Thanks for all the tips yesterday! Great spot to refine technique - sorry couldn't stay longer! Easy central location for MA/RI riders.

Memorial Drive is OPEN!
Boston's original slalom site is repaved and ready to roll once again. Closed every Sunday to vechicular traffic from 10:am until 7pm. It has been in severe need for resurfacing for nearly 5 years and has not been worth skateboarding on for nearly teh past 3 years.
AS of 3 weeks ago the pavement is smooth and extremely grippy. Type I-20 modified, flatter stones with asphalt mix. Moderately fast surface- though not much hill- perfect for beginners and intermediate slalomers.
I'll post some clips we shot today.
I'm thinking this could be a regular thing once again.
For those interested in the slalom site's history- I'll see who can host some clips shot about 13-15 years ago- when it was last repaved.
We were refered to as "The Venice Beach of Boston" funny as we were actually in Cambridge.
