Thanx Mathias, and we should thank the Riderz team too i guess...
However, you were a skilled skater when you started slalom, and a sportsman too, i wish i could fall with your grace, and you are about 20 years younger than me... Offer a skateboard to your dad, and then you will have something to compare
i wish Donald would have a bit more commonsense, or else someone should remove that topic, which has little content one should be proud of.

Wes, as, before that, i had kept away from any sport during the 39 first years of my life, if i except one or two experiences during childhood, i do not think there is so many exemples to compare to mine; but i am not the point actually, i do not mind if i should be this or that level in anyone's opinion (what are we talking about ? i'll probably allways consider myself a beginner, but others are more beginner that myself now) i tried to cancel my posts on this topic earlier on but couldn't find a way to do that.etienne de Bary wrote:What was your level 3 years after you bought your first skateboard ? THREE YEARS? Jesus, man, you started skating in 2001 and still consider yourself a beginner? If you only skated an hour on weekends that would be 150 hours of skating. By now you should be so far away from being a "beginner" that's it's a distant memory. Mike Maysey started slaloming in March and was getting on podiums in June. Aaron Morris wasn't even born three years ago and he's already close to pro level. I started skating in 1975 and by 1978 I had seen my best racing days. Well, that's not entirely true: 1979 was a great year after I started riding Turners.etienne de Bary wrote: What was your level 3 years after you bought your first skateboard ? That is my situation.
I don't know your physical condition, Etienne, your age or your professional responsibilities but claiming you're a novice because you've "only" skated for THREE YEARS is really suspect. Hell, in 150 hours of skating anyone could become competitive at slalom.

we are trying to devellop a slalom scene and we welcome beginners with gratitude, we try not to make fun of them.
It is for them i do need all kinds of wheels, (the beginners, and those who are turning excellent)

Re: Nice threat
Heiko, by "anything i can do" i meant "if my first posts were somewhat incorrect toward you i can change them". As a matter of fact i did not notice this topic was about Germany particularly, which is your territory... if you feel there is anything i could change to my first posts on this topic just tell me, please.Heiko Schöller wrote:Thanks for your help but my Manx are already on the way and I´m awaiting them the next days here in Cologne!!!

Ok guys,
my only intention of this threat was to get an answer to my questions you can see at the beginning of this threat !!!!!!!
This is a threat concerning WHEELS !!!! There is much room for other discussion in this Forum!!!!
Is there someone out there who can simply answer my simple question ??
Thank you very much,
Carsten

jst to answer your pathetic questions:
3 years after having picked up skating i was sponsored by:powell,z-flex,asf sunski in germany, several shops in my area.
i ranked top 3 in germany(slalom,freestyle)
there's enough people who know me to prove my credibility.
i am no consumer i am a producer as you will see next year and as you could have seen with a bit of detective skills.
i am doing some of the biggest skateboard-brands in germany, which includes one of my own brands also, successfully for 4 years in a row.
i'm in the O.M.S.A. along with muir,hackett,olson,arab,d.p. and some other illustrous skaters-i bet you don't even know what that is.
ask olson next time he touches french ground-he'll enlighten you.
how's that for a starter?-your turn...
so i picked up slalom racing after 23 years of abstinence this year in april, same as carsten did.
since you are mentioning that you are doing that stuff for 3 years, that should give you a good start.
don't call people out, when you are not ready to back it up-lesson#1
don't talk with a big mouth unless you are ready to back your shit up-lesson#2
since english is not your main language,i see you having problems in interpreting statements or replies-or are you just trying to twist and distort your stuff so that it might fit in your plot, from post to post.
i will remove nothing from here, since my "personal attacks" have been sanctioned by your big mouth.
for starters it should be you to back off.
you are old and responsible enough for the stuff you are posting on this forum and you should stick with unfriendly reactions also.
i don't like your style,etienne,and i'm not backing off a bit.
if you would sport a more humble approach, there wouldn't be any problem at all,but it seems as if you are asking for it.
pierre samray shows exactly how a humble approach can work and for that he is receiving extra credits around the world.
the only thing that really makes me feel bad right now,is,that i'm using chickens platform for such an unholy debate.
if you wish to continue your "bullshit-tour",move over to the dark side.
chicken:my apologies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your excuses are really lousy,etienne.
or should you try to reread my post in order to understand what i said?
no...you're too stubborn.
i am NOT making fun of you...
i asked you to step up on your board and leave the kids at home.
thanks for showing the world what a sport you are.
since you openly admit that you have a big mouth, you should at least be able to back it up.
as it seems, that is not the case
stay at home with your keyboard-that's your "real world"

etienne... you don't get it,right?
let's start with a bit background bs about your posts here:
a few well-known peeps from germany and switzerland were bitching about your patriotric approach in several posts you made.
yes-we all know by now that paris is THE place to be,thanks to you.
and-of course-coneracing.com should get those wheels first.
you don't even seem to notice that heiko is also running a biz here in germany(everybody else, check this:www.concretewave.de) and that his main interest is,to get things(suppliers) going.
if you would have noticed that, your post following heiko's should have been different.talk about "etiquette".
whatever it is you are involved in,has to be #1 or the most important
thing/place whatever
a more humble approach would earn you more respect among others who read your stuff.
but,as it seems, you don't give a flying horseshit about that.
don't waste your time quoting me-by the way.
just read and try to understand
next:
actually we don't give a shit about how good your rookies are.
what kind of grown man are you anyway?
if you want to settle things by racing me or anybody else, then please step up on your board and do it by yourself.
it is more than childish in approach, when you say that your rookie-kids are gonna smoke us.
how come you are so sure about that?
i don't know you at all,not a single bit-but believe me:reading your posts makes me really feel sick.
as a matter of fact even some of your own countrymen don't appreciate your way of interpreting things/facts(see the previous quarrel you were referring to)
let's handle it like that:you have enough time to practice till paris.
we'll be there and, hopefully, you'll have the potential to back up your loud
internet mouth with actual deeds
i,for myself, want you to race me,show me what you got, leave your kids out of this.
and stop whining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
