Split-Fire DS107 - Not just a front truck anymore

Ok, we've gotta stop calling this truck the "front split".

I picked up a DS107 hangar from Wax out on the hill today. I didn't have an RII baseplate with me, but I did have a 35 degree Randal DH baseplate. I had been thinking this combo could make a good rear truck, so today I put it through the paces. We rode a fast hybrid that was loose at the top and tightened up just when you got cooking at the bottom. Then we switched up to a TS on the same hill. I rode the split on the rear of a 32" PPS for the hybrid, and switched it to a little TS pistol for the tight. The truck rocked on both courses! Never lost traction once, even through some hairy offsets. This truck worked so well in back, I'm not sure I want to take it off in order to try it in front! Here are some pics of the TS setup:

I think you need to buy a deck with rocker ??!.....so you don't need the blocks anymore ! ;-)
