I bought a race case of stingers when they first came out, if i compare my Current "everyday" riders to some of the unused ones the colour difference is stunning.
i think what you find happens is the urethane sucks up all of the dirt & grease and general crud on the pavement, contributing to the fading of the colour from a nice bright green to a very dull & dirty green.
i don't think you will find this only affects stingers, i've seen avalons go a nice dirty brown colour!!

Hey, have your stingers changed colour? I bought a set of 88a's when they came out, and got some softer ones mounted on a Roe complete last July. The colours are noticeably different now, and I wonder if the older ones changed, or if the newer ones began a different colour, or different urethane...
