no, it is 790 SKR per night/room including breakfast

790 SKR = about 84 EUR

They also offered rooms without a window for less, but I wanted a window, so I can jump out after loosing to Stride.

All riders and family has a 20% discunt on the hotel we put up on our site, just don't book online, book by phone. Hotel Malmen is right where you wanna be at a cost of 695 SEK per night and room. Two guys to a room is less then 350 a piece. 1€=9.07 SEK gives us a cost per person of 38,31 €. I pay more for IBIS in Paris and no breakfast. This is the best deal on the tour, well except Gruningen where you can stay for free.

But then again, for all you players out their, Swedish women are very friendly, put on your charm and give a it go, oh Nastasja, same goes for the boys, but then again you and Marcus may already have it sorted out after Köln. I got it on film, remember...mohahahahaha

Hey guys, I am starting to read this site more often now. Keith Hollien & I ran cones today. I did all right for an old fat man. LOL

I am looking forward to Paris- I talked with Jani last week and we are both excited about the race.

Please note that this is not a RADIKAL against the world thing.

Last year there were a number of racers that ventured over to the states for our functions, including the worlds in Moro. This year I decided to reciprocate. It's that simple. You guys are great and what you are doing merits as much of our attention as possible.

This is a list of racers planning to attend (in the RADIKAL storm):

Bobby Mandarino
Chris Barker
Jason Mitchell
David Hackett
Steve Olson
Richie Carrasco
Kenny Mollica
Mark McCree

4 wives of racers will also be with us.

We will all be on the same plane to Paris from Miami

Noah Heinle and Gary Fluitt are making it there on their own.

As I posted on Hackett's site on NCDSA... I will give any racer who beats ALL of us $500.00 USD cash. That's for each race. Plus there will be a set of trucks for each race to be given out at the discression of the promoters.

Stockholm is also on our agenda and I will be posting the list of racers on that forum.

Again, thanks to those who made this opportunity a reality--Jani and his group- It will be a lot of fun.

My new Radikal trucks are great. It´s the 2006 model, they're not on the market yet, but I know some people that know some people that robb some people.

Peter--oops, I mean Glen/Ketut/Nendatjnik/Pierre-Marie/Sören (etc.)--I think the strain of planning this race is starting to show. You seem to be having an identity crisis. Is it a clever strategy to reduce protests at the race? ("I'm sorry, but all cone-penalty appeals must be submitted to 'Nendatjnik,' and he's not available right now.") Or do the names spell out some kind of code? Perhaps I should start a new forum to explore the topic further?

Likewise. However I tried the Euro site on a domestic computer and it hauls the proverbial. It seems that kit and operations at work are run on a Third World basis. The pay is pretty similar too. Which reminds me; must put in another rice order.

Sad about the back problems. Whether you can skate or not in Stockholm, don't worry, we will take care of you and Robin so that you both get a nice stay either way. Stockholm is a nice town.

Funny this thing about the site being so slow for Chris and Sam. Are there others having the same problem? What I understood from Chris it was slow at work but ok at home. All computers I have tested works fine. Would be nice to be able to figure out the problem. There are programs that can track the internet route and list the times between each node. That could be a first step. Anyone that knows something about this?

Kenny Mollica here. How's it hanging Euros? Robin and I are planning on coming to Stockholm for the race and are excited. I have had a lower back problem (damage disk) which I have been working hard at getting better. It feels better, so we are coming. No Latvia as we are not bringing our son Ryder and don't want to be gone more than 5 or 6 days.
We are 90% sure, but have not purchased plane tickets yet. I think I am going to see how the first three races go in San Diego (Pump station III), Athens, Georgia and Paris.

This back thing sucks and I might also, so cut me some slack. I may have seen my best days.

We are really pyched and will probably come no matter what. I just don't know when I will get the chance to check out one of the coolest places in Europe. Thats what they say.

It will suck if I can't get on the podium like the past two years, but not as bad as staying home. I need to hang with my Euro brothers and sisters and mid-july in Sweden sounds like the ticket.

I dont know what the voting is about, but please vote for me.

The European site is well designed, but does take a while to check out on the computer available. Each window takes 4'00" to open. Each wrong turn means a minimum of 12'00" before fresh information is received. I thought that it might be best to do a direct posting request whilst simultaneously checking the site. Use the tools available. Due to work parameters I cannot afford to allow buffer time for transport errors and therefore like to get the relevant details ratified before committing.

All Stockholm airports are just fine.

The biggest is Arlanda. Bus ca 45min, fast train - big bucks will get you to the central in 15 minutes.

Skavsta (south of Stockholm) and Västerås (north of Stockholm) are smaller airports. Bus 1.5 hours. These are Ryan Air airports. Paul Price got a ticket from London to Västerås last year for peanuts.

Current plan is we will start GS qualification at 11. If there are many Am's we might split the jam in two groups. One early and one a little bit later. If so the world ranking will decide the groups. Top Ams can sleep another hour, Lower placed Am group will go first. All just early ideas. Check out the euro 2005 site now and then.

A couple of questions regarding the Euros:

Is this the right airport (as it appears on Ryanair): Stockholm S. Skavsta (NYO), and what time does the GS start on Friday 15th?

I'll be riding my bicycle over the Pyrenees earlier in the week (yeah fascinating) but am hoping to make it to Stockholm for a bit of skating if the body and wallet hold out.

By the way, crossbreeds are fine. Three's a team.

Only two major countries on this side of the Atlantic missing in the registration list. England and Russia. Have anyone seen them? They seem to be lost.

We have lowered the fee for women and juniors.

1/4 of the maximum 100 places are already registered.

We will soon look over how many participants are possible to give everybody enough racing for their money. The more racers the less time for you to skate. Maybe 100 is too much... maybe we should lower it.

We plan for 25 pros, 50 ams, 5 girls and 5 juniors. That only makes 85. We will do some kind of Jam qualification. So the less racers we have the more runs we can do.

More detailed info about how the jam will be done later. There are some interesting variations to use. Finals are Head to head (except for the GS).

Our designer Henrik had to work under very hard limitations and could not do exactly as he wanted but I think it turned out quite good. For our site development we used the slalom slogan: "Better fast than pretty!".

he guys - last year i had a lot of fun during the esc in cologne - this year there is not much space in my contestcalender except from hannover cause of several reasons - no worries its okay for me - i wish everyone who i know and maybe knows me especially mark, ramon, steve (PAVEL), donald20 (PAVEL), chris, heiko (KALIBER) a lot of fun, fast and clean runs. perfect weather, dry pavement and a hot and rad pool-session.

shit it sounds like it will become a great event - so what i can not get everything i want ...

what about my BERLIN MATES : peter, dani, stefan, marky, starsky do anyone of you will raise the "PAPE-BRATS FLAG" down in stockholm ... i hope so
