Awww, come on guys.

I have the coolest picture. Here's a story for you. For the Brekenridge FCR t-shirt Fluitt used a high contrast copy of my photo that is used on this site. At the post race event Evans and some other racers were debating who the racer on the tee was. Most thought it to be Piercy. When I let them know it was me, the resounding answer was "no way". I responded with "Where do you think Piercy got his style from".
Please send your cash or prizes to me as soon as possible.

My picks:

1. Richy. Look at him ! He's at the FINISH LINE- "the big grand finalee"[as it were]- he also looks like he's on fire! His wife Maria is a genius with her photography stills AND video. She has been very generous shooting me also in the last several years;
we're very BLESSED to have her in our camp!

2.Vlad Papov. Here's another guy who LOOKS LIKE HE'S HAULIN' BUNS! ! Good photographer.

3.O.K.- - - - If I worked for [again] Pepsi Cola, Coca Cola, or 7-up....and had to find a "general" picture for an advertising
campaign......I would probably go with one of these three.......Jack Smith- Chris Eggers- and David Hegstrom- and I'll tell you why- the color contrasts, the beach-boy look [California- surf & skate -which they generally go for] is pretty much seen in these photo's. Probably would look great on a cola can OR cereal box ! hmmmmmm.

Well, that's it from me,
..........the cartoonist, - Rene' Carrasco.
RENE CARRASCO for - SK8KINGS.COM - Abec 11 Wheels - Tracker Trucks - Khiro Skateboard Products - Nitro Racing Bearings - Vans Skate Shoes !

1. Jack Smith - classic shot, taken at the precise moment.

2. Rene' "CannonBall" Carrasco - because it was taken when he was hauling !*$ down his best and fastest run on the GS course at WLAC last November.

3. Bruce Brewington - because he really has that 70's old-time Colorado Parallel style and a cool fashion sense.

Thanks for the votes HenryJ and Rene', my gig is more '79'- early 80's with the "Player's Choice Flyaway", Camoflauge skateshorts, Rector wristguards, Argyle socks, and O.G. Vans Hightops(that are about 20 years old). Of course the shirt is a Skaterbuilt in the perfect color for pics. The shot was taken at Avila (my first race ever) where I nearly sent Martin Drayton packing for the UK on this run. If I had known then what I know now.

"KEY?" Key to what, a Trebant?
Sure, it runs, but what are the odds of ever seeing one at Pebble Beach?

(Now, THAT was sophisticated!)

No way, BB has that cool 70's style and approach. The dude is a standout and to me, that is pretty cool compared to some of the bow-legged, stink-bugged, kooky-styled slalomers that I've seen at some of the FCR races. BB is Key. I don't even know him, but I've seen him race and I think he has a cool trip-that's it.

I just want everyone to know I'd vote on this thing, but I'm waiting for ILVA to sign up and send in her pic.

Trust me, I don't care how fast she's going, how slow, where she is relation to the cone, turning left or right or just standing there smiling at the camera, her pic will be infinitely superior to any one of you mugs!

Vlad's shot is one of the best I've ever seen. Also, a shot of Jonathan (Cometman) I had on my page (temp down) was pretty rad. I also like Noah's shot.

Uh,Adam? Help the kid out.

Bad H,

Send me an e about what you want me to do. I phoned Jonathan AND contacted him in e-mail to offer him the moderator spot for Comet. He seemed un-interested and never registered. This was early in the formulation of the site. I would like to have him onboard (many others, Attilla, Ed E, etc) but some of these guys are just looking around and not participating.

If they aren't registered, then the way that I see it, they do not have anything to contribute to http://www.slalomskateboarder.com

Nothing wrong with that.

Let me know H.

Second Place: Rene Carassco
First Place is a tie: TK and Henry Hester.
Runner up would be Richy’s shot.

Such ratings come from the heart and are not a display of Image

I've never met any of you people so my opinion is 100% unbiased. I think that the dude named Vlad has the sickest foto on this site. He looks like he is cookin it and he is totally styled out. The angle of photography adds to the effect here as well as it makes the hill appear steeper than I would imagine it actually is. Plus, with a name like Vlad, you gotta be a serious competitor. One final note: If I had a picture on this site, you would see the style king of the week in action. Sk8TV style baby!!!

Good choice, Jason! A guy like you with a well-developed taste (Image)
deserves a good shot himself! Come to the Vans park to skate Image slalom this Thursday, and I’ll make you a good picture for this forum. Don’t worry about the form or the skills. I have a digital camera

But my vote is for Vlad's and Richy's as the top two.

Yeh, But mine and vlads look the same-same angle-same body positioning. What are the odds that an old fat man and a young whippersnapper could have the same "look". We are both unweighting totally.

Hey I'm vein.
