It is an opening party. The party is taking place in one of Paris most famous and Poshest night clubs, between Trocadero and Champs Elysee, so we didn't have the choice of the date. And what about an open bar for all of the riders?Marcus Seyffarth wrote:Why is the party the night before the qualifications? Is it for the racers?/Marcus

The maximum number of racers is set to 100.
So for the moment we set the limit number or amateurs racers (men) to 50.
Woman and Pros registration are unlimited as long as the total is < 95.

At the moment it looks like the earlist train from London arrives at the Gare du Nord around 11:00 on Thursday; so with a bit of a sprint and a prevailing wind...

No, not yet.Sam Gordon wrote:Is there a schedule of events as yet?
Thanks so much! I appreciate it. The only point is that only with my "GoForIt-attitude " I won't go that far. I will have to be two seconds faster....Moreover we did not train during winter except doing couples of pumps for the Olympics (it was indoor at the beginning). Now we would like to start as soon as the weather will be dry at 8:00 pm. Hopefully soon.Stefano: You better don't miss Paris! I guess You will be a strong contender, this year, having trained all winter with Luca. I noticed Your GoForIt-attitude in Antibes last year.
i suspect the city administration would prefer to offer to cut a boulevard on the sunday morning when traffic pressure is very low. Doing national qualifs first sounds like a good idea (might be a crowd).Jani Soderhall wrote:We intend to use the Thursday for Giant slalom racing on a street outside of Trocadero, but we haven't got the authorization for that particular street yet.
a giant course on one of those big parisian boulevards? I mean, how spectacular is this?Giant slalom racing on a street
The dates will not change (to another weekend if that's what you meant). However I'm not sure about the schedule yet. We intend to use the Thursday for Giant slalom racing on a street outside of Trocadero, but we haven't got the authorization for that particular street yet.Stefano Bellingeri wrote:Is there any chance to change the We and doing the race in three days instead of four?
