We won't be making the TS in May, will be going to the Needham race in Boston, its only 3 hours from us and is part of The Farm series.

The problem is finding a fast hill you can put cones on. Until you find that, just find a hill and ride your board around imaginary cones. Don't straight bomb it and if its a big hill don't start from the top the first time.

Right now getting accustomed to speed is paramount. It will help your brain from freaking out and telling you that you are going to die.

HAHAHAHA-the first thing I looked up when I got home were those Dead Dog skate shorts with the hip pads! I plan on getting those and a full face for the really fast hills.

Thanks for the encouraging words guys. My goal for this week is to find a faster hill to practice on. I got a few leads, and just might go and search them out tonight.

Yes, it helped BIGTIME. I would've been freaking out if we didn't have that session, but thanks to your help Joe, I knew to look for where to keep it slow, and where to pump for speed.

Unfortunitly, I think I kept it a bit too slow

Thanks for the props Fats. For future refrence, I prefer a Lemon Merage (sp?) in the warmer months and Pumpkin in the Fall/Winter. It is now my new goal in life to one day earn a pie.

The race was unbelievable. There's plenty about it on all the other various websites so I won't bother to type it out here, but I'm still stoked from it. I'm full on addicted to this slalom thang now, and can't wait to make more races.
