Walker is looking very good these days. I am looking to session it this weekend. Most likely on Sunday. Any takers? You will have to get there before me if you don't want me to set one of my hectic/shitty courses.

I will be there. But I feel the need to grind coping. I will split my time between the pool and the cones.

I'll come if Brian (or whoever) brings his timer. Do you know if they have more than one mop at das park? I don't have any dust mops but I do have a broom. Also, that walking back to the start line stuff is lame. Can we clear the floor enough to be able to ride back?

Sure, Vlad. I am up for it. It actually depends on whether my car is OKed from the garage by evening tomorrow (tiny sports cars don't jump curbs very well). I willl let you know tomorrow if I can make it or nott. Will you have Brian's timer?

Vlad and other interested parties. I may have found a local spot for a viable 100 cone training ground. Slope is gradual surface is like Walker. It is a street but lightly traveled on Sundays. Contact me for details.

As of 9 a.m., The Park and Race is still wet from last night's rain, but a stiff, dry north wind will probably dry it up pretty quickly. The problem is that the wind is blowing straight up the hill, but with a significant warm-up predicted I'd have to imagine it's going to turn around and start blowing from the south before too long. See y'all there.

Snowboarding isn't over just yet. Though, I did get one of my slalom boards out of the storage bin today but it didn't have any trucks or wheels on it.

I'm tied up Saturday. Sunday I'll be snowboarding the last day of the season that Round Top is open. The following weekend me and Steeb are out in Colorado looking for some leftover powder.

One of these days I'll be back slalom skateboarding. Now how does it go? Round each cone or is plow em over?

Don't worry BBB ( That could mean Big Belly Brother or Bahne Boy Brian, you choose!). With my lack of practice this winter, and lack of workouts, and smoking...well you get the picture, I'm not going to(seriously)run a 100 cone course for a while.
I will be there 10-11:00 with blower and broom.

(Homer Simpson voice)Need...more...practice...mmmm

I will be there around 11-12.

I will have timer, broom, and cones.

Dan, don't listen to Vlad. The 100-cone course is not recommended for slalomers of our stature. Our superior slalom physique and mastery of the physical use of inertia does not play in our favor on the 100-cone course. To put it simply, gravity is our friend.

See you guys tomorrow.

I'm up for tomorrow, just need a time. And yes, the Park and Die is a much easier drive for me than having to go through/around DC.
Do I need to bring a blower and/or broom?

I guess. Dan, if you are still at home, you can call my cell fone at 1pm and I will tell you what's happening at the hill. We have to be out of there by 6pm, so use that in accordance with your decision to go there or not.

What, you’re going to tell the world where it is, just like that!? Just kidding, Brian. Your directions are off in that the turn off of Rt29 is a right (not left), as coming from Manassas. Also, look for the locked gate before you reach the shooting facility. Here are the directions coming from the Beltway-

Take I-66 West. Exit onto Rt.29 at Centreville. Take Rt.29 out of Centreville, in the opposite direction of Fairfax, towards Manassas Battlefield Park. I think it’s called Rt.29-South. The true direction on your compass will be West. After approximately two miles, look on the right for the sign for Bull Run Regional Park and turn left (as it directs you to). (If you instead see a huge quarry on the left, you just missed the turn.) Follow this road until you come to a sharp left-hand curve. Here you will see a sign for Bull Run Regional Park. Take the road to the right of it. After crossing a bridge that goes over I-66, imediately notice the sign on the left for the Special Events Center/ Shooting Center. Turn here (left) and follow this road straight until you see a gate. Park on the side of the road, somewhere outside the gate (it is locked). This gated road is the entrance to the Special Events Center. Get all of your gear/equipment (don’t take more than you need) and walk around/under/over the gate and follow the road to the Special Events Center and the slalom hill. If you never saw the gate but instead find yourself at the shooting center, high tail it back out of there before you get shot and then when you can see I-66, the gate is on the right.

I think this the correct directions.

Take RT 29 North from I66 in Manassas. Go north about a mile or two. Turn left at sign for Bull Run regional park. Fllow signs toward the Bull Run shooting range. At the entrance to the shooting range there is a locked gate on your left. Park and walk/skate about 100 yards into the special events center.

WesE, let me know if this is not correct.

I think tomorrow should just be a full on session. No Outlaw points. I apologize for being unorganized this week. I am still recovering and catching up from my vacation. However, I do plan on racing you skinny cyber slalom boys on a hill. So bring it on! I think we should check out the Bull Run special events center. No danger of sand or runoff. And I would like to set some duel or three lane courses.

Andy, if this is not good for you, post up. I know transportation down might still be an issue with you. I can just as easily ride somewhere in Gaithersburg.

If one of you Web savvy guys could post up a map or some directions.

Vald remember the timer.

Let say around eleven or noon.

I can't make Saturday. I've got a freelance gig for an ad agency the next 10 days.

No session on thursday for me. Looking forward to saturday. Brian, is saturday just a session or will it be an Outlaw race?

Vlad, TK is the equivalent of a drug pusher. He is sending a loaner set to another good racer friend of mine knowing damn well it will hook him into buying more. By the way Monday night was a good high. Looks like I may need to phone TK for a fix.$$$$$$$$$$$
