It's actually laser cut and then tumbled to get that finish.
Since they are made by Dave himself, they can be made fairly cheap, even at low numbers.

That would be great. Glenn Chapman's is a good design (Sk8kings sells it) but it would appear to be a bit labor intensive. It looks as though this one is cast and probably easier to mass produce. I might be wrong but it just has that die-cast look to it.
Of course, I also know "mass produced" for slalom can be self-defeating. Not a whole lot of mass out here for a market.

From the pics all I can say is the constuction certainly looks hearty enough. The price is right.

My only question is that it looks a little too "low profile." Maybe that works when stationary on a board when downhilling. When working the front foot through cones, though, is it too easy for the foot to lift or push through the stop and go over?
