Looked like an awesome event and creative fun course.
Great job Pierre and Rookie!
Love the alternative course - reminded me of Farmageddon:

The Rollin SlalomCross at Jackalope Festival
Pascal jean and myself were given the opportunity by Rollin Boardshop to organise a race that would make the best use of a so-so hill on the Jackalope festival site , at the Olympic Stadium in Montréal.
Since the hill we had is not fast enough for a DH race and the surface not good enough for slalom, we agreed that a SlalomCroos would be our best bet to have fun and a good way to mix both types of racers and even attract a few non racers.
We had a pair of 6 foot high start ramps made that were adding a bit more speed and that turned out perfect for the hill.
First down was a dual slalom of about seven 8 to 9' slightly offset cones, with white course on the right and red left, then a sharp left turn into a chicane followed by the first downhill section for speed around 50k.
We the made a 60" wide bottleneck with hay bales followed by the second slalom portion, 8 cones in fast GS style but this time white cours is on the left and starts from the left side of the cone, opposite from first slalom, (that got a few screwed up).
Another chicane was placed after that then a left turn taken in full tuck to a narrow left turn to the finish line.
