Boarder Cross & The ISSA?

Post by David Baron » Mon Dec 07, 2015 2:48 am

Hello,

I'm considering organizing a Boarder Cross a.k.a. "Skateboard Death Race" in Montreal, Canada.
I'm curious to know if the ISSA ever considered to manage the results from those type of events under it's flag?

Cheers,

David Baron

Board cross races are definitely welcome. The races will be listed in the race calendar and results will be entered into the ranking database. However we currently do not add them to the main rankings. If there were enough races in a year we'd probably do a separate discipline ranking.

Although we do not yet have specific rules for the boarder cross races, maybe you can still find some inspiration in the slalom rules (available under Resources in the top menu).

Add your race to the calendar 2016 to make sure it's included in the calendar.

Let us know if you think there is anything else we can do for you.

Good luck with your race!
