I had a framed Poster size picture frame that I kept some European slalom photos in that I had for the slalom course in Boston in the 1990's.
Basically it showed what a contest looked like, a few action photos of racers, and a trophy shot. I had it resting on some slalom cones on windy days and other days it was up on a easel.
I think it was one of the things that helped bring more people to my course.
At least they were practicing for something.
Below that was a list of slalom course ettiquette.
1. Pick up your own cones and others when walking up hill
2. Wait your turn
3. Keep the course clear
4. Look up the course while resetting a cone to avoid being hit by a skater etc...
5. Don't trigger the timer strip when walking up hill.
and so forth.
I'd like to put another one of these together for semi permanent slalom courses.
So my question what photos do you think truly show the best slalom has to offer?
And-
What would you put down for slalom rules?
