The World Ranking will determine a couple of rookie of the year awards each season. There will be a couple of different classes for this award. There could even be a possibility to create automatic rookie ranking lists in these categories later.
Pro – Rookie of the year: As best placement in the "World Ranking Men, Pro" after first season racing as Pro in a Main Status competition.
Possible special invitations for Am's to race in a Pro class during previous seasons is ok and will not affect them being in the pro rookie category later on. Only points from the first pro season will count anyway.
Am – Rookie of the year: As best placement in the "World Ranking Men, Am" after first season racing in a Main status competition. Juniors don't count.
Women – Rookie of the year: As best season placement in the "World Ranking Women" after first season racing a Main status competition. Juniors don't count.
Junior boys – Rookie of the year: As best season placement in the "World Ranking Junior Boys" after first season racing a Main status competition. Girls don't count.
Junior girls – Rookie of the year: As best season placement in the "World Ranking Junior Girls" after first season racing a Main status competition.
- The two competitions with Major status will be counted with Main points for all classes except the Pro class.
- Only points from the first rookie season counts.
- Separating racers with same point, if needed, is done with highest point gained.
