European Championships
[Sep 21, 2003] By Pierre Samray
The European season ended this year with an action packed Saturday of slalom racing in Antibes, just meters from the beach. Luca (Italy) was there, Maurus (Switzerland) was there, even Dong made it from the US. The three battled it out among other guys like Ugolini (Italy). Martin Siegrist took the overall title (downhill and slalom combined) but who won the individual slalom titles?

Grüningen, Switzerland

[Jun 21-22, 2003] By Jadranko Radvanovich
Among the Europeans the Swiss are among the most active. Yet again the little Swiss town of Grüningen hosted an international slalom event visited by racers from all over Europe and even the US as Richie and Maria Carrasco and the whole Gordon family showed up and raced. Needless to say the US carried away a couple of titles, but both top Pro titles were taken by Luca Giammarco of Italy.

[Jun 8, 2003] By Gary Fluitt
The FCR race season started off with Gary Fluitt putting together yet another great event. With slalom cross being a new discipline for the year speed, and the potential risk of slamming, was something to be counted with.

FCR Lake Elsinore race
[Mar 31, 2003] By Adam Trahan
The 2003 FCR Elsinore event was one of slalom skateboarding diversity.
The course was on a smooth, fairly steep hill that lead to a Fire Station but interuptions to the racing were kept to a minimum. Race fans were nearly absent in the gusting winds but racing was fierce on the fast action course. Many new racers were in attendance as a "all around skateboarder" ramp / park contest was embedded in the FCR event. With all the distractions, racing was still at the helm and the course was challenging for all in attendance.  Forum thread...
