Thank you Texas Outlaws and all who help support their race this year. You are one of the few remaining groups that are still putting on a big race. I know you are all tired, but wanted to let you know how much DP & I enjoyed the event. Keep your stoke! That hill is epic! It's really hard to find so...

Hi Michael, So where would you propose this light tree be located relative to the ramps? Personally, I find myself staring at the first cone or if on a BAR, I am staring at the bottom of the transition where the ramp meets the road. It seems that if the lighting tree were centered between the ramps,...

I think when you first turn it on it will tell you if you are in "tapeswitch" or "infared" mode. tapeswitches operate in "normally open" mode ...

Fluitt is probably still recovering from a long, hot weekend and trying to catch up at his real job. If we would have ran conventional single-elimination bracket, Dan or Gary would have posted up the results same day or same weekend. In order to run the double-elimination, we used a combination of b...

The answer is ELIMINATING the "pro" class. We have no "pros." We have a few skaters racing for beer money and some free equipment from their sponsors. Every once in a while a skater gets someone to pay for a plane ticket. Sorry, that ain't pro, I don't care how you argue otherwise. We need "A", "B"...

The amazing thing pulling this together is that the contest calendar is growing every day. /Jani That's interesting. Perhaps that is the European trend? The organizers of the 2009 World Championships have decided to add a separate MASTERS class. Last year I might have raced Masters if I knew ahead of time that there was a nice money purse. By the way you may have the same rules in quals and elims that way but you can't have the same beep pattern with the new Trackmate, which probably makes it even more confusing for racers. I disagree. But, if you haven't tried the new mode yet, give it a try. The old "normal" method is the "other" mode, so yes you can run both. /Jani If you upgrade your firmware then you can no longer use the "normal" method. I suggest we make the new TrackMate with random beep start the only accepted method in finals. (and we no longer need the false start early start calculation in 6.1). Seldom are the actual surfaces equal on both lanes. There are factors like grease, holes, surface/erosion inconsistencies, shading...
