Good documentation. I like the course with every 10 cones a different color.Marcus Seyffarth wrote: Pat - Please let us know if the film is good enough documentation so that we know what to do when documenting the 100.
George pappas wrote:sorry to here about your fall, Antonio. I hope you heal fast, just like you skate.

The first race will be the 100 in San Jose on Bernal in the am if the wind, weather, and if we have a small crowd. If we have to many I do not want to jeopardize our only good hill.
I plan is, we would start at 7:00 am and get off the hill in San Jose by 11:00 am latest.
We will run the 25 and 50 on the Santa Cruz Levee which is flat and it is easy to run the course both ways and get a time.
Drive to Santa Cruz and skate starting at 1:00 and do the 25 cone race 2 runs each and get times and then the 50 2 runs each and get a time.
Any questions please contact me.

I wanted to do it local so we could save time and money instead of traveling South or North.
I will go by the rules. John Ravitch is going to help.

I think a 1-week rain-postponement would be OK..... but not an indefinite postponmentMartin Drayton wrote:Surprise, surprise the weather in the UK is looking questionable for the Record attempt to say the least! Very Heavy rain is forecast and it has rained consistantly for the last week causing flooding in some parts of the country.
Pat, If we cannot run the event at either venue (London & South Coast), can we postpone it and still keep our status? Or is it this weekend or bust?
Martin.
I think Michael Dong is on record as saying it can take weeks to knock 0.01 off a Cyber time and a lot of effort. If you go faster, its an improvement no matter how small the increment! Surely?Marcus Seyffarth wrote:I know this is a little bit late and perhaps not the right thead, but I really don't see a reason for records having to be 0.05 seconds better. Is is 0.01 second better then its a new record I think. This is not high jump where you could beat the record with as little as possible lots of times. Anybody agree?
Post results here --- and don't forget to send the report with documentation to me.Marcus Seyffarth wrote:Should we post the results on this thread or start a new just with the results?
We aim to run cyber and 50 cones on saturday and 100 on sunday.
Good luck to all of you! /Marcus
Yes, there is a Masters for Women and Men.Cat Young wrote:Sorry if this has already been covered, but is there a Masters division for men & women... or just Masters?
There are records to be set in 25-cone for women, jr, masters ..... Don't just concentrate on the men's open record.....Marcus Seyffarth wrote:For the same reason I haven't been to the hill to document it in a proper way. However we will run 25 and 50 on one street (most likely only 50 since no one in sweden is close to Michael Dongs record)
