Nam: International Cyber slalom III
Format: Flatland straight slalom
Dates: November 2nd through the 10th 2019
Location: Everywhere
Sanction: Basic
Contact: rog3ue@comcast.net Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/656109638132643/

Ever wonder how you racing would stack up against other in other part of the world? What to see if you can beat Janis Kuzmins, Joe Maclaren, Kenny Harrison or Viktor Hadenstrad? Well here is you chance. Announcing the ISSA sanctioned world wide Cyber Slalom race!!

So how does this work.
You must have a flat surface; you will need 25 cones and a time that is capable of starting and stopping when the skateboard crosses the line of start and finish. The timer must be accurate to at least the 100th of a second.

Draw a box #feet (.9 Meters) by 3 feet (.9meters) Set the start switch at the end of the start box.
Set you 1st cone 15 feet (4.572M) on center set the rest of the course six feet (1.8288M) on center in a straight line. After the 25th cone measure another 15 fee (4.752M) draw another box the same as your start box. Put you stop switch at the front of this box.

So now you run this course each way and then average the two fastest times. If you hit any cones or pull out it is a dq. Only clean runs count.

All times will be up loaded here on Facebook, Our Officaial time keeper Stephen Blane will be providing a web based spread sheet where every one can choose their class and enter their time. Please make sure to take video, video although not mandatory but is encouraged, plus is cool to watch everyone going for it. Also picture of al your racers are encouraged.

This is the Second year of the Cyber slalom as a internet race. Right now the Fastest time was posted by Michael Dong of 8.16 seconds! Once again the ISSA has sanctioned this event as a basic status.

Here is the link for putting in your time.

Lynn,

Maybe there has been a mistake but when event calendar requests here have been added to the calendar the post will finally be moved over to the calendar 2019 discussion forum here...

Lynn,

Can you provide any more detail? I have recovered a back from June and I'd like to look through if we lost any posts that were created before that. The backup is lengthy with 2.5 million rows, so it's not easy to go through. A hint of which event you lost would be of help.

Thanks,

/Jani

Thanks Lynn for that precision.
I have no signs that the forum crashed and may have lost data. It's been running fine as far as I can see. There's a small risk that the entire server could have crashed and then been restored all done by our hosting provider, but I guess they would have told is if it was so.

Sorry if you're posts are gone. Can you check so that all races are back in again?

/Jani
