I saw this board in one of the series of pictures from FCR Worlds 2003.
Who knows more about them?

That is a HV. Around the time of the first La Costa Arab made a small run in a few sizes and flex's. They were made in the HV snowboard facility I think. They are Arabs shape and design. Olson won that race and a few more on the HV's. I have ridden a couple and they are a nice damp ride with moderate camber and good construction quality. They are no longer in production as far as I know. TK

Hey Guys-
I have a HV at home, when I go back on Tuesday I'll snap a pic and get it hosted so I can show all you guys what it looks like. The dimensions are 31 by 8.5 I beleive and its got about 3/8" camber. The construction, like all HV's is a vertlam maple core , with two maple plys sandwiching that, plus a final layer of carbon top and bottom. The shape of mine is basically the Pocket Pistol Hybrid shape. The flex is medium, its perfect for me at 165. I'll get that pic up asap.
Personally if I ever made my own boards they'd be the shape above...
HV Hank
ps olson told me at breck that they were gonna make them again... (shrugs)

That's Olson's board. Methinks those are Bennett Hijackers or Pros with some unknown (to me) baseplate. 3dm wheels, of course.

Could that be the board Olson ran Sunday at the Worlds? I heard he was running Bennetts. Look like Cal Slalom baseplates.

Of course I'm an ICK rider TK, I will always race my ICKs as long as I have them. I just happen to have a Herr Vaughnster... might as well enjoy it instead of using it for wall art. It's good to have a board that I can give to people to try when the express interest in slalom as well... thats why I have the board in the first place.
Hey adam traha_n, feel like hosting some HV pics I took?
