isn't "Strada" an old name for 'Krygrip" ?

Tom Peterson who owns Hyper / Kryptonics won a World Champonships on those back in late 60's - early 70's. (can't remember, but it was quite a while ago). There were (and still are) a few Quad teams training around here; in Cheyenne, Greeley and Denver.

While only a fraction of the size of Inline Speedskating, Quad racing is probably still bigger than slalom racing. Quad racing has been around since the turn of century and has quite a history.

Tway, you are a very clever guy and quite astute. My love affair with the 62 mm strada wheel began when they were the only wheels out there worth riding. I never considered them a Quad wheel but a slalom racing wheel that quad guys used on occasion.Also I have only been skating for 2 years and really don't consider myself to be a skateboarder. John, you lose an awful lot of slalom gear. Can you please give a complete list of all the things you have lost over the years pertaining to slalom? That would be funny. T

I lost one orange 92 a strada at the redbull urban waves event. anyone find that quad wheel?

I rode 62mm Stradas in 88 and 92 all day long at the Gathering II. I was being stubborn and did not want to change. I would have beat chaput if I rode newer wheels.

Brian, get a set of Turner Avalons and a couple of sets of cambria's or Stingers and be done with it. We got the best stuff on earth built for us right here. Leave the quad stuff alone. TK

I was looking at a website given to me by a buddy who quad skates, I found Hyper wheels, like Shamans and Witchdoctors, but what is best to ride for slalom? And what hardness to get since they are only rated in soft, medium, and firm?
