yeah ok limited shirts with the design of the actual race only available for competitors
about 5 good decks pool and race decks everybody was covered in the end.
i just wanted to make sure the folks were happy later on.and steve was right when he said that
the prizes were better than on a few other races.i just want to give people back what they deserve.

hey ramon
who cares what has been given away?
everybody had a good time and got a bit out of it in the end, some more, some less but nobody walked away with empty hands or shit nobody wants or needs.
nobody else was interested in sponsoring the race so i took it on my own in the end.
maybe heiko will add some decent schwag into the pot next time,so each race is worth a visit besides the fun everybody had during the race-that's what counts!

next race will be düsseldorf tight shit with a really hairy descent into the flat, listen up everybody, the hill in düsseldorf everybody from cologne already knows with ramps and a sketchy course into the flat area.first you gotta stay on the board and then you pump the hell out of it yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
somewhere in january.

i hope steve doesn't win again he doesn't need an adult magazine he has a nice wife.

by the way that little portable ramp we had is one of steve's projects came in quite handy.
düsseldorf will be head to head, guys!

French Pirates, I'm happy You guys had a good time. Thank You for coming and racing.
You are always welcome to come back.

Donald, You where so generous sponsoring this event. The prizes were better than in some of the bigger contests.
PAVEL made it happening again.

Thanks to the spectators for showing up and staying in the cold for a while, especially to Max Victoria (german skateboard hero in the seventies).

We had big fun in the cold! G.o.G-Races are the best!

Donald I wanted to come and would have loved to ride that course.
But yesterday it was also very important for me to party and celebrate with the students.
I was completely wasted this morning and the whole day -- meaning that I was throwing up bile until 8 pm.
Really really not used to partying anymore. (nearly 3 months without drinking)

It´s good to hear that you all had a great time. That would also have been a good opportunity to test my speedboard (at least a little bit).
Yes I´m very sorry for me not showing up.

this is only the first 10 starters we had 17 all in all nice race good course/mixture between special and gs,good vibes fun race

thanks to vince, david, adrien, and charles for coming all the long way from paris to race with us.

we missed a few other folks who said they would come but didn't,these people know who they are, guys you missed a good session on a good course.
steve surprised the rest with fast and stylish runs and went all the way through 3 races to the first place-he was on fire today.vince was really close behind him,but had no chance to touch him.heiko had no chance at all to catch up on the other two guys.so you could say vince brought victory back to france after the last pirate race in paris when heiko was the man to beat

pics and video will follow very soon to keep you all entertained.our french friends did a lot of filming and they will post pics soon enough.

all in all we had a fun weekend with our french guests and we all want to say "thank you" for staying with us.

How is the weather?
Is there still a lot of snow?
As we don't go to Stockholm perhaps we could come, but if too much snow we cannot take the risk to be blocked by the snow on the roads.

GoG-Race

Post by Steve Hinzen » Fri Dec 02, 2005 9:47 am

Due to rainy weather anounced for sunday, there will be no race this weekend yet.
Let's hope for next weekend or later.

Winter in Cologne generally takes a short break around Christmas. That means some "warm" and dry days.

We are ready. So stay tuned.

triple crown

Post by Detlef Rehbock » Sun Nov 27, 2005 7:02 am

hi guys,
best wishes to germany and good luck for the race. i can not be there because i am at the real triple crown event on north shore.
last week i saw sunny garcia, mick fanning and all the top surfers at the first triple crown at the op world cup in haleiwa. this week is the second triple crown, the oneill world cup at sunset beach and in december there is the big final with the rip curl pipeline masters.
i will be there. my goal is to surf all the triple crown locations on one day. hopefully i make it and be back for the next season of great slalom racing.
good luck to gog.
dete.

CANCELLED
but not dead yet i am thinking about doing it next weekend then,if rain and snow cease.there's no sense in moving the race to an absolutely shitty location, just to pull it through,so stay tuned.
