First time we are organizing family slalom casting in July 5.

Participants will be slalomers from one family. For example father and daughter or son.

Registration will be on the contest area.

there will have a shuttle from Riga to Sigulda friday afternoon.
We are planning bus from Sigulda to Jurmala but we are
looking in our budget and looking how many participants will registerated before June 20th.
We are not planning buss from Jurmala to Sigulda sunday evening.
But for people who would like to stay in Laurenci hotel in Sigulda from sunday to monday we are recommending bus or train Jurmala - Riga - Sigulda. It is not complicated!

World Cup 2008 in Latvia will happen on 4th.and 5th of July in Sigulda and 6th of July in Jurmala.
We have special bus for participants from Riga to Sigulda on Friday afternoon. Please reserv place till 1 th of July via e-mail gintsgg@ml.lv
Start on Friday will happen 4:00 p.m.
On Saturday 11:00 a.m. happen special slalom. The first junior and ladies, after - amateur and Pro class.
On Sunday 11:00 a.m. happen parallel slalom in Jurmala. The first junior and ladies, after amateur and Pro class. Competition in high jump will happen in one group and start approximately 2:00 p.m.
For accommodation we recommend hostel Laurenci in Sigulda ( www.laurenci.lv ).
It is only 200 meter for race place
Entry: PRO 50, - AM 30,- Junior 20,- Women 10,-, Kids 00,- Euro

The competition will start on Friday afternoon with Giant in Sigulda city, then Special also in Sigulda.
If there will be a lot of competitors we will organise bus from Riga to Sigulda on Friday.

This World cup will be the last one in Jurmala because the city council will change the surface in middle of July

That is the reason why only Tight slalom will be held there (on Sunday) !

Accommondation will be cheaper than Jurmala in hostel ''Laurenci'' in Sigulda (hostel homepage - www.laurenci.lv ).

We have planned to organise bus (for competitors) on Sunday morning from Sigulda to Jurmala.

We are working to improve skateboardinfo.lv homepage, more info and registration will be there after 2 weeks.

New and more detailed information will be aviable next week, because this Saturday indoor contest will be held in Liepaja city( there will be an Easter festival ''Eggs on air" with skateboardslalom,street and other activities) so all slalomers will gather together and make some final decisions about the World cup.

In the indoor contest in Liepaja there will be special and tight slalom so if the information don't comes too late-you are welcome;)!

are the other race (tight and special) held in Jurmala or somewhere else?

I suppose you'll have a bus to go to the Giant spot? Going from where? Riga, Jurmala...?

We have planned to start GS from higher position so you will have longer distance to wave to Latvian girls ( they all really want to meet you because they still remember you from the Euros 2006 =)

The World Cup will start on Friday with giant ( in Sigulda-place of 2006 European championship with 6% pitch)!

The giant will start in afternoon so you can book tickets also to Friday morning !

More detailed information will fallow when the status (MAIN) will be confirmed !
