But has anyone got photos of us riding the skatepark? The halfpipe was cool.
My and some of the chaps got talking to a french girl who invited us to a beach party.
We piled into her car and when we got to the beach she let us out.
"Where's the party?" We asked.
In her broken French accent she replies:
"oh, I take a party of you to the beach!" and left.
We had no money and had to hitch back to our hotel.
Luckily anothe girl in a VW bug drove us back. Never forgot that night, and I still pick up hitch hiker.

European Championships 1982
Here's a few blurry pictures from the Euros 1982 in La Roche Sur Yon, France.

José De Matos (FR). If this is the finals, I'm on the right side (too fast for the photographer).

Might be Pierre André Senizergues (FR)

Tony "Dobie" Campbell (UK)

The French Team

The French and Swiss teams
(ps. Check out the perfect discipline of the French team - never seen before - or since!)

France, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Belgium

Belgium, Germany, UK
(Team members: Dobie, Paul Price, Chris Linford, Martin Sweeney (?) and trainer z. Notice the lack of discipline - in contrast to the French - and Swiss and Italian teams)
