European Indoor Championships, thanks!
Many thanks to everyone who helped out during this event: Judges, speaker, time keepers, cone judges, music mixers, food staff, etc and to Dalibor for holding it all together!
Also, thanks to all Czech skaters for the welcome! It was great to be back in Czech Republic, approximately 20 yrs after my latest race here. Same friendly attitude, good organization, plenty of energy from old and young. And what a talent pool they have! Other countries beware!
It was great to see so many girls racing. Promising! Juniors Anna Gailite and Irene Di Giorgio will soon be giving Lienite some serious competition! But Hanna from Finland and Natalya from Russia are wildcards for future races! And Czech Republic has a good group coming up! Martin Tuma's skate school is starting to give good results!
...and last but not least: Jaroslav Knettig - what a talent! I couldn't believe my eyes when he raced head to head with Viking, Kuzmins, Mika Hadestrand and Gustavs, and he beat them all!! In Europe we now have our own Joe McLaren!
Let's keep this autumn race tradition in Brno!
Well done guys - thanks!!

Just had a look at the sign-up list:
18 juniors/kids
9 women (and a few more if you include those in the junior category)
67 registered in total!
Really impressive. Looks like it's going to be a great race!

Tickets booked!
Two/three Soderhall's to the sign up list. Dimitri is not sure to enter, but we'll see.
Haven't been back to Czech Republic since the early 1990's. I'm really looking forward to it!

The hall is heated, but outsite is November and could be cold there, take a headcover with you for the outsite area...Anton Nikulin wrote:Hello.
What about temperature there? I see warmly dressed people.. =)
In the hall we ride the skateboards with shorts and shirts some people also in Jeans, in the breaks we dress warmer (good for the muscle).

Re: European Indoor Championships of Slalom Skateboarding 20
Thanks!
For sure I will try to come. I will have a look at prices and travel times to see if I can bring the kids too. So 4 persons, either in a big room or two separate rooms. Could you make a preliminary reservation the time I hunt for tickets?

Hi Jani,
the best way is to fly to Wien or Bratislava. Because Prag is 220 km from Brno and highway is some time full. If you go from Bratislava is by highway aprox. 120km. and from Wien is two possibility to go to Brno- first is direction Mikulov and second one to Bratislava and than to Brno.
If you would like to reserve accomodation, please write me, because the hotels near the fairground throught the sport fair will be full.

Hi,
For travel, what do you propose? Fly to Prague, Bratislava, Vienna? What is the best option?
Thanks!

[2011] European Indoor Championships of Slalom Skateboarding
European Indoor Championships of Slalom Skateboarding 2011
ISSA Status MAIN download Sanction Form
12.-13.November 2011 Brno, Czech Republic
After many years break, we are proud to announce this European INDOOR Championship (first in this millennium).
We all think, that is a great possibility to make the winter “shorter” and ride weather independent the Slalomboard again.
More Infos (Registration, Startmoney) coming soon
