Yes, that will come now with the first world ranking update for 2012. I will enter some recent event results and calculate the ranking tonight.Sj Kalliokoski wrote:Would it be possible to get direct link to Events 2012 page to top menu?
Also good news now that the login bug is fixed and now should work for most browsers.

Ok, we forgot to update that link in the dialog after the new version of the forum.
But a person can register also without a link between Forum and Slalomranking. Then you just have a "word check" to do.
But once we set up the link between Forum and Slalomranking the user has to "log in".
And by the way it does not help just to create a new user in the Forum. That is only the first step.
Then we also have to make the link between the Forum user and the racer in the slalom ranking database. That I will do manually for now.
We have also recently seen that the log in does not work in some Browsers like "Internet Explorer" and maybe "Firefox".
I use "Google Chrome" and that works fine.
We will have a look at that...

Tested it half an hour ago, when new person tried to create new account there to register and informed me about failure.
Looks that url point somewhere not existing, or?
Link points to upper one address as below, and i would assume it to point lower address :)

Re: Front page updates 2011
Good work JBH - despite the facebook-age this was the first place to find the top 4 in each of the tight events, and have only recently been posted onto the book of face - even if they did include some Riga results (Sam) which will confuse the hell out of some followers! :o)
Any chance that someone from "race central" will post the full results up on the actual thread? I know it's a big field of riders but it would be nice to see how others did?

This is just to let you know that Jonathan Harms is doing live front page updates direct from Ottawa this weekend. Check it out at least once a day for the latest news!

Front page updates 2011 & 2012
I've been doing quite a few updates to the front page recently adding results and pictures for races, I even put up the press release for the new Tekton bearing from Seismic. If you want your race (or products) featured on the front page, submit images, results and a few words and I'll put it up for you.
To help me format pictures in two sizes: 450 pixels wide for the front page. 800 pixels wide for normal forum topics.
Send result speadsheets as PDFs.
For Major and Main races this is a service which is part of the soon-to-be-announced ISSA race fee as well as reserved for sponsors, but depending upon availability and general interest anything might go up if you submit it and make it exciting enough to make it worthwhile!
