PVD R3's
I heard that Peter has given up on skateboard equipment and is now designing bicycles. But... I have also heard that PVD's may be available again! Hmmm....

Ha! If Pete never did another run- it would be the Indy suspension truck saga all over again(1980's wanna win?- you'll have a better chance with suspension trucks). I'd rather see the playing field level.
One good turn deserves another

Peter will be doing another run of his r3 trucks as soon as he lands in Ca. HE is in Tahoe now mountain biking with his wife and dog. Have your 200.00 deposits ready. You wont be dissappointed. Ask Tway. He rode a set belonging to Noah and freaked out. They are that good. Pete is also making taller plate so you don't have to stack risers if you like a tall ride. TK

Madd Mike has another 158 for sale. Shaggy has his number.....it is brand new in the plastic.
I did product testing on the Madd line and helped to fix some design flaws- mostly delamination issues (the original ones used common closed cell packing foam in the tips!) and insert issues. I also pushed to extend the top sheets. Shaggy has his numbers correct. I also helped to dial in the sidecuts and flex patterns some of which were really way off (nearly unrideable)in the beginning.
You guys should all come out snowboarding...I can snowboard a lot better than I can skateboard and could coach you slackers to rip...I did help coach CMC, and others.
Want to really feel what a GS turn should feel like? Vlad knows.
TK bought my R3's last night- sold them to pay Peter...not Paul.

TK, you're right about JG designing the all time ultimate carvin' machine, the MADD 158! It fits him to a "T". Thats why MADD made 150 of the 58's! Only 8 170's and 2 180's were made (JG, please correct me if I'm off). All produced almost 10 years ago! Still at the top of any carvers' list of "must have"!

You are joking, but in fact CMC and I can't sell those boards. Everyone rides those wide boards nowadays. It takes a man to get on a narrow-waisted bitch such as 175 Vlad/CMC model Donek. When tamed it's one of the most rewarding rides. But who's got the balls to work the board? Most of the modern carvers are wide-freestylboard-riding girls. On 2003-07-09 16:05, Chris Stepanek wrote:
Vlad...I have a set of Indy 101s I'll trade you for one of your skinny Doneks!
I'll even throw in some good tracker bushings to sweeten the deal.

What? Woman - captain?! What kind of team are you, team Slacker? Send back your PlankkR immediately! Return postage will be paid by a man-operated company. We have a girl on our team, but never will we allow a woman to be our captain! May God make every woman as beautiful as Cheri, but may HE always keep men in power!!!On 2003-07-09 16:27, William Tway wrote:

The PVD truck is a Peter Verdone design. http://www.peterverdone.com/groundeffectold.htm The R2 stands for, I guess, second edition. No questions are stupid.
